I mean, Ralph Nader got such signatures as "Mickey Mouse" in "support" of his last presidential bid. Surely a real human being can hold some credit if Mickey Mouse can get Nader over the 55,000 or so votes needed to run.

Actually its nowhere near the same. I didn't want to see him because of his crimes. Gaysh ave commited no crimes to you, to your religion, to your race. Also don't pull any of that christian anti-gay bullshiz. We know what the priests do to little boys.

People promote gay marriege for all the wrong reasons.
A lot of people would think that it's their lives, let them do what they want. If the previous statement was true, I could do whatever the hell I wanted and if somebody said something, I'd say it's my life and you can't do anythign about it.
You can't counter my statement with "It's against the law" because the Constitution states that only two people of the opposite sex can be married, legally, it is illegal for people of the same sex to marry.
Some people would state that the current law in the Constitution should be changed because of "Individual-Rights". If everything was based on individual rights, I could port weapons saying that "It's my right to defend myself".
Personally, I know a few gay people, and most of them think that it's right to be gay, that being gay suits them better and such comments. The reason for this is that you are not born gay. Thus, if gay marriage was legal, a whole bunch of "Socially Asexual" people might turn gay. If you have enough gay people, this would mean that birth rates would go down thus bringing many other dire consequences.
The only reason in which gays can support upon in gay marriage is economical status. Being married means that you have 2 input incomes, but only 1 output. This means more economical prosperity to a big percentage of the gay community.
The gays are asking for "State Marriage", state marriage is just economical union between two people. State Marriage has nothing to do with "Individual Rights", during the late 18th and up to mid 19th centuries, slaves couldn't marry. It's the same deal, slaves had as much "Individual Rights" to be married by state than gays, they weren't given it because it would've decreased the economy.

This is really sad.. It isnt homosexual's fault of being the way they are. It is just that they were placed in such hatred... They would give anything to change their lifestyle and who they love. That is seriously wrong... Punishing people for who they love...

The goal of a government should always to promote freedoms, except when these freedoms interfere with the freedoms of others.
Basically if two people want to get married, we should not deny them simply because on sex. Thats like saying blacks can't marry whites or something. Its denying people freedoms to do what others can, which at its foundations is wrong.
Ya, and beer is right for the legal term of marraige, but isn't it about something more than money?
And to be opinionated I'd like to say I am against marraige at all costs anyway. I hate the idea of the institution. Sure I'd like to celebrate, but its like havng rights taken away. You might not miss them now...

So are you saying that man loving man is not ok? seriously. there are homosexuals out there that would give anything to change who they love. And they are being persecuted of who they love! It is a debate about the definition of marriage, according to Titan. We need to change it because there are people suffering out there we can help. Yes, there are poor people in Africa, but we should get rid of our problems first, which is homosexual issue, and then get into other issues such as hunger.

Please don't use word love when you talk about gay people. Love is biological process that happens no mater what you like/dislike or you want it or not. It has something to do with ferments or something, and it is 100% impossible that a person can be in love with a member of the same sex. So all these talks about "they love each other" and all are just useless crap... There is no such thing as gay love.
