Here's an idea... im not actualyl makeing it ....yet buy tell me if its good and i'll consider...
Its a mecha-type game...
so basically ur a soilder in the future and theres a war going on etc....
You can go in a mech factory and get into your mech, and then go in part of a war (with a comp ally which is mainly the whole army other then you agaist another comp). OR you can go into this big crusier and to another planet and bust some bad guys there too. you infiltrate factorys with a.i. allies and try to capture base etc, and then the good guys get another base... but the bad guys can do that too... So what do u guys think? should i make this?

Bases infiltrate them in infantry to ue with mechs, but that could trigger a bigger resistance. IF you are infantry you can sneak in and hijack mechs etc

Hmm....It Sounds good..But add a lil More to it...If u wanna Make it, Go for it.

Sounds cool.
Some things that would be neat to add to it are the ability to:
Customize your mech. Each mech-type has a different amount of space it can have, and different weapons are worth different amounts of space. Like, you could buy a "Flame Defensive System" which is a bunker that follows you around, and some Firebats in it, the number of Firebats determining how many hardpoints it uses. Or you could have a Sieged Tank following you that's a "Long-Range Mortar Cannon". All kinds of fun with my idea!
This reminds me of the "mechwarrior" series, I love those games!
so would the bunker with bats or the tank be cloaked? or could you see them? if you couldnt see them thats friggen sweet...
Well, it wouldn't be sweet, sometimes its best to have them in view, so that the game work correctly.

Which is very true, because then you'd actualy be able to move your Goliath around without having to look for the distortion so you can find out if it'll be in your way and stop you from performing some very time-sensitive trick where you need to get past the one guard, set a distraction in the hall in that one area, hurry down the ramp... or something like that.

heres another one but not sure how to make it...
so in your base there are too floors.... side view
and hte guy can go to the computer or sumthing and the mechs are stored from the second floor, so when u go to the comp thing it comes down... like an elevator..
so do ships, excep they are hangin.... only problem is how to i creat this effect? i dont want tge units to like teleport... i was thinking sumthing like tuxedo templar's kill me map when guy falls off cliff. but i want a floor thing consisting for 2x1 square terrain... so the gols is like standing on it and hte floor moves with it... you guys dig?
edit.. git got an idea... is it possible to move sprites around? it so, is it possible to make "terrain sprites" with a program and load them on starforge?

Here's the start of a mech-type system I made a while ago. You're a Ghost, and you can enter and exit any of the mechanical units you find lying around by sieging or unsieging a Siege Tank. It's actually a cool system, I may still use it someday. Hope it can help you out.

Actually, it doesn't belong to you. It just retains your color. It actually belongs to Player 12. When a unit is given to P12 with triggers, it retains its previous color. Notice that you can't order the mechs you have abandoned around unless you get back in 'em.
ooo...thats good..But theres another way mainly using the Move location...ohh...But that would take MAnY locations and make u look like a FoOL.So go with teh Siege Tank Thingy.Or like using A starport with options like if u build a Scout u enter a Mech if u build a Arb u like.,.....well u get it

Make a heat factor every time mech moves out of location add heat and recenter
and you can buy better Cooling systems. I was thinking about a mech map so i have some more ideas too. THe tips sai the bunker will shoot from where it originally was if you move it so you'd have to use a flame trap, if you use a flame weapon your heat goes up more. Maybe make air and ground missiles with suicide units. I'll make a mech game some day.
