Name: Ten Thousand Units Defense (Myriad Defense)
Type: Build defense survival
Map: 128x128 Space
Forces: 1 Players
Players: 7
Difficulty: Selectable, Very Hard
Affinity: 10000 Marines Myriad
Description:This map is melee oriented, meaning you must build a base following StarCraft's default
rules. The build speed is accelerated and price is abolished considering the odds you're
faced against. Players can choose almost any StarCraft units to be the myriad army.
They include:
Zerg: Zergling, Hydralisk, Lurker (All Zerg units), Ultralisk, Infested Terran, Infested Kerrigan, Mutalisk, and Guardian.
Terran: Marine, Firebat, Ghost, Vulture, Goliath, Tank, Wraith, and Battlecruiser.
Protoss: Zealot, Dragoon, Dark Templar, Tassadar (Templar), Reaver, Archon, Scout, and Carriers.
After the player has picked an enemy unit, the team has 10 minutes to build a base
inside a circular field. But before the game start, players can also manually change the
diffculty. On Easy, more time is added and enemy hero units do not spawn. On Hard, the
computer can see the team's cloaked units. On Insane, the computer will unvision the
players and time is deducted.
When the time's up, the chosen enemy unit will spawn at the 8 points tangent the
circumference and also the center. As the team kill more, the enemies spawn faster.
The beta tests have shown that the "Cannot create more units." is a rare incident
because of the time given for the players to build and the way the enemies spawn are
limited in such way that do not allow maxing out of units.
The enemies do attack, and they do it viciously with 100 attack upgrades. Adding to the
chaos, for every 1000 deaths the computer has, it will spawn an Eper unit based on the
race of the chosen enemy unit. For Zerg, the hero unit will usurp any team's unit it flies
over, for Terran, it instantly destroy units under it, and for Protoss, the hero will attract
all of the team's men toward itself and then erase anything under it from existence.
To help players fight the odds, each race has a special ability. Zerg players are able to
instantly spawn units at a larva beacon and has 10 pre-upgraded attack. Terran are able
to stack by unallying any other players. Protoss can make their buildings invincible by
warping a Shield Battery.
Because of the variety of enemies and copious availability of units to train, there is much
strategy to be executed, allowing players to claim victory by skill instead of bunker sunken placement.

Edit: What I meant by beta testing is hosting the map on battle.net and play with others. If you find any bugs, report it back to me. You can give suggestions after you have played with 5 or more players.
