Introduction

Race through tons of randomly varied levels to get to level 50 or be the last one standing.




Features


-Player Interface
Players will use a unit build method of control. The control interface will be a Terran Barracks or a Frogger Controller. The controls are as follows Left=C Up=F Down=G Right=M as corresponds to the respecitve units hotkeys.

-What's new in your map that others have not done before?
♠My map will have a contest much like that of some defenses and bounds brought to a new style of gameplay based on a classical hit.

-Characters
You have the ability to choose from the following characters each with special attributes and abilities that will help sway the race into your favor.
♠Newt
Special=By Life(buys a life)
Starting Lives=5 lives
♠Frogger
Special=None
Starting Lives=3
♠Acolyte
Special=Sacrafice(kills every frog besides those with frogger, even itself)
Starting Lives=7
♠Quickie
Special=Pausetit(pauses every other characters movement for 15 seconds.
Starting Lives=1

*Speed is in order from slowest to fastest & New Life given every 10 levels

What control system are you going to use? Mouse unit control or something else, like keyboard control, dropship, or virtual joystick?

I didnt actually finish the post. I got 2 tired and just stopped it there. It will use a keyboard type. Build unit style i.e Build wraith go left. ect. The grid will make it perfect.

Uhmmm...Well...I guess the ideas are ok, but using a build command to activate movement has several flaws.

There will be a delay in movement, so it's very slow.
And people will get mixed up on which unit makes it go which way.


Re-think your movement flaws.

This map works fine. Im adding extra features and a better level system. ATM this map is damn hard. I die at level 5 or so every time even though all the levels are EXACTLY the same, they are just random. Oh I inserted DEMO but the Up/Down are backwards in this version. The new one is unplayable. And I switched to Starport.

Ive updated this a quite a bit and is quite bugless but i am working on another map currently. I may give this to somebody else to finish if anybody asks.
What needs to be done
Dynamic Level Sytem(Diffrent and gets harder as levels progress)
Fix 2x bug(its 2x even though i deleted the p14 map revealer)
finish all characters
Add in special character abilities and attributes
Play instructions
Sick intro briefing
Amount of levels to get to(if level system is dynamic.)

The level system might take some food for thought since it should be dynamic enough so that there are at least 100 levels with some sort of system.

you can make a hatchery thingy and disable and enable the units to make an arrow when u select a larva?

ADDITION:
Ok I updated. If anybody can post screen shots I would give you minerals.
Fixed some major issues in the Beta. This map is almost done, just have to polish it up.

Oh and please report any gramatical errors or units without any names.

it needs some better terrain, but i suck at making cool terrain. I want a marshy look but have no clue how to go about it. Something like the frogger in ps1 had.
It would be cool if somebody could help me with that part.

i see one of the guys can "Buy" A life. how do you get money to buy the lives? also i like how u gave each unit a specialty

Yeah those units arent quite done yet but they will be. You get power(minerals) after every level passed. You will get to buy lives or use an attack after a you gain so much power.
