Report, edit, etc...Posted by Tusken_raider24 on 2006-01-25 at 15:40:52
Lately I have been remaking S.W.A.T. Wars. First, I deleted all locations and triggers, mission briefings, units and the like. After that, I put the units back to somewhat their original position. I Remade the brifings for the new style of play i planned to create. So, now I'm ready to begin making locations and triggers. I bring the minimap to the corner of the screen where i will make my first location. MY GAY EDITOR BREAKS DOWN! i send the dumb error report, start up xtra editor again, and whenever i bring my minimap screen to the corner, it has an error ans has to shut down. I restarted my PC and tried again. Same thing. Is this a normal porblem? do I need to reinstall Xtra Editor????

**sry about the length; i wanted to give all details to see if that had anythting to do with the problem confused.gif

You could possibally need to reinstall editor but do you have starforge or Scm draft? you could do the locations with those and do triggers with starforge

I believe you placed a unit that can't be viewed by SCXE.

Open up your map with SCMDraft2 or SF and delete the offending unit.

It really doesn't matter.

Theres Probably a crash unit or a special unit that it doesent allow for you to see, so try opening sf or scm and delete it, try again.

Yeah it's probably an interfering unit which regular Editors can't view. Try opening SF and try deleting it. Any version of SF will do fine.
