Well, I'm finally making a new version of a map im sure you've all played (right...?) SpEeDBaLL The new version will have a feature that will most likely become popular-- an instant remake. Meaning, if you finish the map, after timer and player with most kills wins, all players vote on whether or not to continue. If enough players say yes, then the entire map is reset without the hassel of having to completely leave, remake, and get all the same players back in the game again.
What do you think?
I like it, i've played your map a few times, its good fun and interesting! Quick Fire!
Wow active forums -.- that got replied to in like 30 seconds.
Also, I still need to add the anti-hack for damnation...

ing Drakken newblet keeps making new hacks. Thankfully i already know how to do this one.
You viewed the one on this website made by DeathKnight?
Man i PwN and SpeedBaLL.....it would be good to add a thingy if not u want to continue the game

Glad to see its so popular. I hope the new version spreads.
Do you mean that Deathknight made a new version of SpEeDBaLL or an anti-maphack for damnation? I saw the anti-damnation hack, it was the same one that I knew. But i bet you don't know how to anti-minimaphack! -.-
Yes, I've discovered an anti-map hack for it. Though there is no real map hack out at the moment(try removing names from your posts). The only thing is that it isn't as stable as the older anti-map hack method.
http://www.staredit.net/index.php?showtopic=2449This idea sounds ownage, you think you can have something ready by map night?
Well, I'm new to this forum, so i've never heard of map night or anything else that goes on here, but id like to get involved.
I'm guessing map night would be this friday, saturday, or perhaps sunday night? It may be close because this is my finals week- high school freshman =/ -but ill give it a shot. I'm fixing a few other bugs with my map as well, like blind spots (places where you can stop and see somewhere, but people in that area cant see you) that ruin the map.
DK you said something about mentioning people's names? Do you mean we aren't allowed to cuss out hack makers on these forums?
Mapnight info:
http://www.staredit.net/?act=mapnightYou shouldn't cuss at hack makers, it makes us no better than they are.
I got an exam on monday, I'm still planning on showing up (you can only study so long)
Read the info on map night-- seems like an idea, and i don't have finals NEXT week, i have them this week. Time may be tight to get the map done, not for playing. I'll definitely try to finish at least a beta with working stuff, but it will be un-colorized/overlapped/briefing updated and the like unless i get lucky and don't encounter any errors -.-
True what you say about hack makers, but we don't use 3rd party programs that alter the game -.- they make them. We just find fun ways to counter them =)
I personnally see no point in map hacks, on UMS games, where is the benefit. Welcome to the SEN Faz-, where people reply very quickly and all the time. I'm on mostly when no one else is, and i've played your map a good few times, it should get more play than those others, it is far more enjoyable! But the blind spots are annoying, as is the fact if you move correctly you can see huge areas without really being nearby!
FaZ-, dunno if you remember who i am from 3oD or not , 3oD[GreSS]

, but i liked ur SpeeD Deuls maps better because it help more with luring and angles. I am basically a retired snipist, but i still get my snipe games in. Anyways i guess the reset idea is nice cause i hate having to remake after every game gets kinda irritating.

Maybe include a previous score area, out of the way, in between setting the rounds; IE make a break for players, and show who got what, and maybe have a ladder system for a set number of rounds, and/or just fun games. So like ladder would have five matches and it would have counters for hte winners at the end. Including losses for deaths

Heh i already added that, if a player wins a match he gets a firebat in a corner. Thanks though, but I'm just trying to get it to work =/
Once somebody's like 10 points ahead of the others, everyone leaves anyway. No point in remaking in-game if you're the only one still left. :/
Perhaps thats true in public games with sniping newbs, but a 10 point deficit is just "oh im losing k focus" and im back up there. The same goes for most expert snipers. I dont think that i have ever lost a 2/3 match with anyone on that map, and usually win by 10+ without leavers.
