I have a Macintosh computer, so I can't get much for StarEdit programs.
I use StarEdit Emerald, with flying addons, and I found a weird glitch(?) for making player 8 two colors. I haven't tested it in games yet, due to laziness, but I will in good time.
Place two or more units anywhere, making sure that the units are controlled by multiple players. I selected the units, and made them invincible. I clicked ok, and when it returns to the basic screen, the unit just selected are a weird, different color. And if you click on them again, it says they are owned by player 8. While there are other player 8 units that are the basic yellow color. I don't think it works on every terrain though. I know it doesn't on desert. I guess it depends on the terrain for color and if it works.

I finally tested it, to see what it would do.. And the odd color units, changed colors in the game. They were pink in the editor, and a weird black in the game. And even though they said it was owned by player 8, they did not attack like the basic color, though they did move once after being attacked. I have a replay, and just a test map if you want to edit it yourself or something.

Anyone know of this blotchy pink being as real color? if not it would be cool to have as one it looks funny and its differnt

Yes I know this. It is the famous MAC glitch to make units Player 256. My friend uses it all the time. 
(Opened in StarForge and the black units are 256)

is corbo a girl or what(Not literally) yeah and just do Right click save target file to download stuff on SEN. The site is falling apart while they do the new SEN.
