HexEdiing for protection. How could I do this?
Get a hex editor, read the tutorial on how the CHK works, edit it, repcompress, and distribute.
I'm on a mac so.... I have CHK format file but it doesn't say how to protect.
The point of protection is to make it so that the editor can no longer edit the file while the game can still play it. There are no real guides to protection. The best way is to learn from a pre-existing protection method.
So ask some one to protect a map and compar the origanal to the protected?
