He is the leader of the conservative party if you guys didn't know. I think he will. If he wasn't, than noone would vote for him. But i agree, in history this has happend many times, but i think he will. He knows what he is doing.

So what if Steve Harper leads us into a few wars... With all luck Canada could become a military superpower again. I'm jsut sad that it isn't Sandra L. Smith sitting in that seat.

What do you mean by "again" Syphon? To my knowledge Canada was never a superpower of any sort...

Actually, no, I dont think he will do a very good job.

He is going to have to do some serious sucking up to the opposition. His government is more of a minority then Paul Martin's was. He's agreed to lower GST (5% I think), but he is going to have to raise taxes in other stuff. It's going to be a joke.

Further more, we can't really elect in another government for 2+ years, since all the political parties are broke from campaign prices.

if you payed attenchion in history class you would know that Canada were the British 'Shock Troppers' in WWI. We struck fear into the germans then.

And in WWII 'WE' broke through the Gothic Line. And it was basically us that liberated Italy. and we helped Defend Hong Kong against the Japanese.

Supposidly hes going to be a good priminister. Personally, he scares me a little (I dont know why... just a vibe or something lol). But I'm sure he'll be alright.
