Like many others, your are trap upon Intersection 8-4D, an artificial island connected to four cities. The only availble exit is reserved. You are quaratined. No one leaves, only enters. Your job is simple. Survive your replacements. As humans, you are no longer on top of the food chain. You no longer serve earth, only rape it of its resources. A new race is rising. The perfect organism, a synthetic parasite, capable of living in harmony with Earth, but not its children.
This map will be a prequeal to my other map ARMAGEDDON. That map will differ a lot from this map thought because this map is set before the bombs are dropped.
U pdates
-02/04/06 Created Production Tread. Terrain Location Unit Names Finsihed
-02/05/06 Trigger work started. Created beta breifings and Part 1 of map.
-02/06/06 Updates this post. Tested out triggers. More planning.

-02/11/06 Working on spells right now. Smoothed out right click activation. Prodution will be slowed down for 2 weeks. I have training camp again next weekend and this weekend, i'm working ahead for school.
-03/09/06 Have to rework Triggers from beginning due to bugs. Thinking of removeing Attackable Skyscrapers and Air. Remove dropships. Will replace will Valkaries. Enterable buidligns if time allows.

-Some barriers (Green thigns and sandbags in pics. Note that they arn't tree sprites, which are usually the sprite that gives cover.) will give you a better chance of not being hit.

Kool map and kool terrain. Looks nice. So its somewhat like Resident Evil? You're trapped in a city/underground or whatever and "something" is lurking in the streets and you fight to the death? Kooool. GL GJ
right click spell activations. No euds online. I dont think you can do that.
By right click activation i mean in the beggining, your hotkey all your spell activations and in game, u selec your hotkey and right click.
And intersection is a crossing between 2 roads (like an X). Basically, 3 out of the 4 roads is where enemy enters. THe last one will be an underground tunnel where reinforcements such as tanks enters.
I havent played many RE maps. JUst the madnesses so im not sure.
If you played Final Requiem by Khaoskreator, this is kind of similar to it.
Nice terrain so far, but how would you have attackable skyscrapers, and why would you want to have them? What kind of enemies will be in the game? and why are they attacking quarantined people?
Attackable skyscrapers is terrain with INVISIBLE (not cloaked) Units on them. WHen they get attacked, it will looks like the skyscraper is being attacked.
Enemies? Why are they attacking? I dunno.
I dont have a story yet but im thinking one of thsose typical zombie stories where they dont want people infected in or out etc.
I know what an intersection is! So its basically a FTTD(fight to the death) situation isn't it? You're in the middle of a road and "things" come at you and attack you. What's the tunnels for? AS i've said before, (i think) Tunnels will be one part where Reinforcements will come in.
I'm doing some updating right now on the thread.
Still need some ideas to get the story started.
This game is somethign like fttp. There will be some objectives you have to do in the game to win. I'm currently running out of locations so i have to start reusing them.
The maps is actually pretty small (well the area you actualyl play on), so there will be different tasks you complete so it wont get to boring.
right click spell activations is where the unit is in a box like so

Zerglings and hydralisk and umm other units attack you.
They fall into the group called projects.
You could give me some story ideas i guess.
edit. Since this is a mini RPG, a story really isnt nessary. I wouldnt be able to tell it, other than with the events in the game or in breifing.

ok here is a story idea. some gang is messing around with the cops. go and stop this by killing them. then there will be a shootout with the cops and the gang. kill the gang before all the cops die.

I want to see Tactical A.I (ur allies) i want to see em (or get WaVs to hear em) calling orders around the Battlefield, i want to see them getting behind cover (and have some high terrain around so its harder for people lower to hit em, and stuff like that!
Sounds Pretty hard but Calling out commands is doable.
