I also made a version of it called Mooseball, but that wasn't one of my better maps. Just some FYI, don't expect to actually see it. tongue.gif

Ok, what about space invaders(like the arcade game) has it been made?

(U)Bolt_Head attempted to create a map like that, l dont know what exactly the problem was since lm not as developed in triggers as he was. He was unable to finish beacuse of the unit movement. Think about how the invaders moved, from one side to another grid wise, then downward. At the same time you must shoot a laser directly forward. If your going for a spin-off of the map go ahead, but if your going for the classic style l dont think you can do it.

Well,no space invaders map haven't been made and like Pinecone said, it would be a censored.gif to make the map.....i would be impressed if u can do it.

Pinecone i just figured out what i can do recently. I already knew a while ago but just recently I figured out a way that i can keep my stars and do what i want.

Maybe this will clue you in http://www.staredit.net/index.php?act=Atta...e=post&id=34187

I just remembered a long time ago in Blizzforums you actually asked for help on that map. But since Bolt got it down, Hampster is out of ideas.

Well; he can try to work on it as well, and see if his is any better, who knows, it might not 'trigger class' Bolts but be more enjoyable. It happens.

Well, I've been thinking in my head of ways to do it and it seems easy or well not complicated anyways. I'll work on it, just to see what I can come up with.

Edit-- And, if this don't work I can always try simon.

Heh..Simon...that would be fun..yet very simple to make wink.gif

So, at least i'd be the first to make it lol. It would also relieve the anger of not being able to make space invaders.

I thought about it for a few seconds and thought of a movement system for Space Invaders... O.o maybe I'm thinking of movement for something different... meh, w/e.
You could try Snakes. I haven't seen that.
Use a Shuttle to control which direction you move, or a Barracks or something.
And have Ultralisks be the Apples O.o =D

How do you remove the last unit in the trail?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by Hampster on 2004-06-10 at 22:15:54
You could just do something like in the train topic. Instead of remove a unit. Everytime you get the little dot thing add a unit to the train. Be pretty hard to make. I might make this instead.

" How do you remove the last unit in the trail?"
What do you mean by that?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by xXLordSlippyXx on 2004-06-11 at 05:00:32
You would remove it by having a trigger like

Condition:
Always

Action:
Move Location "kill him" on blah blah unit
Preserve trigger

Condition:
Always

Action:
Kill blah blah unit at "kill him"
Preserve trigger

That wouldn't work because you'd have a trail of the same unit. Also, you would want it to get longer and longer. I think the train idea would work better.
