Having a unique building system, and high flexibility. I would say of MMORPs this tops the list.

I remember it was popular several years ago. Isn't it just way too old? Somebody still play UO?

Isn't Starcraft just way too old? Both games have relative age.
And just as Starcraft has it's map editing. Ultima Online has several shards to play, and is still releasing expansions.

I know several people who plays this but I've never really played this myself so I don't really know if it's that fun. Are there screenshots or any website where I can see screenshots and read about the gameplay?

Ultima Online isn't hard to find... It's pretty much the Starcraft of MMORPGs. And it's owned by Electronic Arts(EA).
