I want to find out if this is possible and how it could be done. What I want is to have certain structures unclickable and I figure sprites are the best way. If there is another way to do this, please tell.

Well, if you don't mind the map being before patch 1.13b then extended actions are available to remove sprites (or if they can't they can at least move them to a useless part of the map). Using the disable doodad state action can work for some, since it makes some invisible but they appear to still be there, but a lot will crash and I'm not sure if they would all show the building still when disabled.

Using disable doodad state on a terran building makes it visible and unselectable.

well, i tried it on a terran machine shop and it jsut cloaked itself. do you have a list of what buildings are still visible?

Add-ons all cloak.

Regular terran buildings become unclickable.

That tutorial is for creating sprites, not removing.
