I'm making a Use Map Settings Map titled: Mario Party 3. What I want to happen is I want Toad to be speaking, then Kerrigan appearing, running over to Toad, killing him, then I want Zeratul to appear and kill Kerrigan. Now here's my problem:

When Kerrigan appears, three of her do, instead of just one. Why is this happening? I'm using Emerald for the Mac.

Also, I set an AI Recall script, but nothing's happening? I have it on Preserve Trigger and Always and everything.

You have to assign the "Create Kerrigan" trigger to only one of the players in the game, instead of something like "All Players." Preferably, you should use a computer player.

Have you seen this tutorial already? You need the arbiters to have it researched, as well as the energy required.

Yes, but that's the weird thing. I have it set to only one Kerrigan. I checked it many times to insure that.

instead of setting the create action for all players, current player or more than 2 players do it just for 1 player only not for everybody

Okay, I'll try that.

Also, is there any way to AI Recall without using an Arbiter, because I want to turn Shared Vision On, but then you'll see the Arbiter, and I don't want that. I used to be able to with Emerald.

Sorry, I thought you meant something else. Thanks though, it worked.

If I have any other problems, I'll ask in this thread.

So can you do the Recall Script without having an Arbiter?

You can do it, but it wont do anything.

How were you able to cast recall with the AI script without having an arbitor before? You need to have an arbitor in order to have it work.

He couldn't.

Well, I must've done something else then.

Is there a way to still cast Recall with an Arbiter, make it so you can see the player that's casting it, but not see the Arbiter?

Also, is there any way to make a place on the map visible without putting a unit there? Not like the Fog of War, like making it completely visible.

Give the arbiter to a enemy player without vision.
Dont need to explain more on this...

Euhm... i think map revealers should do this job. or you can just use observers from a enemy player.

Map Revealers as in Scanner Sweep?

Sorry guys, I haven't been in this business for a while.

No, I believe he is referring to the actual unit called "Map Revealer." It's under the Special folder as far as unit divisions go.

And since I know you will run into the problem later, the only way to remove map revealers is to Remove All Map Reavler for a player. You can recreate all but the ones you wanted to remove, though.

Sorry guys. I'm such an idiot that I couldn't even remember something as simple as that. I can only hope that this Mario Party 3 map does well. Coming up with mini-games is tough...

Hyper triggers maybe? I'm not that sure. But you can try adding hyper triggers.
