1 - How to paste stuff without creating new layers.
When I paste something it creates a new layer if I have pasted something in current one. How to make it so I can paste in 1 layer multiple times?

2 - How to make adjustment layer work on certain layers but not all below it? Like I want to set hue adjustment layer to render image without changing background adjustment...

3 - How to make my own patterns?

I probably missed something tongue.gif

It makes a new layer when you paste something, live with it. Merge layers etc..

I don't think you can have it paste in the same layer. Nor do I think you want it to.

2 - I'm not sure off-hand

3 - Create your pattern and go to edit > Define Pattern.. I believe

1. You always create new layers when pasting things from other pictures onto your new picture. If you're used to drawing by hand or MSPaint, then it will feel weird at first, but it's extremely beneficial once you learn more about Photoshop. If you REALLY want a bunch of stuff to be one layer, then save it as a JPG and continue adding to it afterwards.

2. Under "Image", most of the adjustments apply only to single layers. Brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, color balance, etc., all apply to single layers.

3. I don't know, I've never tried to make a pattern. tongue.gif

1 - Shame, I need it not for having everything on 1 layer but to not have like 50 layers when I need to copy/paste stuff piece-by-piece...

2 - Lies, I made hue layer and there were 2 layers under it(render and background), I was despaired because I couldn't make the background right with the damned hue layer on it pinch.gif

3 - I'll try it, thanks smile.gif

1) Just press ctrl+e as soon as you paste it.

2) The background was probably either all black or all white or you didnt hit the colorize checkbox

3)Make sure you make the image very small.
