In my opinion, it was a fun map, but not "OMFG!11!! tis map R0xX3Rz!!!!!!" kind of fun.
There were some things in the map that I couldn't exactly figure out what they did (the switch in basement near the Ultralisk and that Zerg Cerebrate that wasn't renamed... bad Bolt_Head!)
The ending made it seem as if Bolt_Head just slapped it together, but otherwise, I'd recommend it to others who haven't played or beaten it yet! A great classic.

That switch in the basement closes the right door. The idea was that your suppost to lure the ultralisk into that room get him trapped in there since taking him on head to head is suicide. But ironiclly the suciidal approch is easier.
The Zerg Cerebrate is the designated home for the ultraisk. The Ultralisk on the first floor patrols the hall during the day and goes to the "bad" place to sleep. Its quite simply labled bad because its somewhere that you shouldn't go. That and if you actually make it there your pretty much sure to die shorty after.
Everyone complains about the ending but I love it. From the very beginning stages of creating HotH I had intended for you to be lost in a dream world. It kinda gave me an excuse to relicate the paranormal without logic behind it. The hints are settle but the intro is littered with them. First off the game starts with the dong of a clock that repeats over and over again untill you wake up. You start out next to a bed and you say "Huh? What? Must of been a Dream". The ending is the way you get out of the house, simply by waking up from your bad dream. Perhaps I could of had a little skit of some elaborate death before you wake up but I would never change the main idea of the ending.

Well... I never got that far... but I think it was cool. Bolt_head probably spent a while on terrain.

Yeah the terrain was done in StarEdit. Starforge and SCMDraft weren't out when I compleated this map. So things like having all the walls on the second floor be the same tile took a while. A little thing that people don't really notice but i think it helps the hall look endless and helps give you the feeling of being having no landmarks to identify to. Also i made sure to remove pretty much every computer terminal that was put on the wall.

It says the size of the map in the forces. I guess alot of people think that is just there to freak you out.
