I was replaying Metriod Prime today, I didn't want to though. Because I remeber it being very hard and annoying. But I'm sort of glad I did. Last time I played it was oh so many years ago in 2002 when it was released. I didn't get very far (I got Heat Vision and had 43% done or something, in which I decided to give up). I remeber lots of boring logs and just jamming the A button to kill enemies or pass stupid logs to open doors. But now I acutally read them and I find out interesting thigns about the past of the plannet and etc. So I'm not going to acutally try to beat it this time instead of giving up mid way.

Another good example would be Resident Evil 4. The first time I played the game and beat it I wasn't scarred at all. Fighting the Garradors seeing villagers stalk towards me, preists laughing as they attack me from behind. It was all fun and had a dark tone. But I wasn't scarred. Now that I replay it (Even with my trusty magnum and rocket launcher with me) I'm afarid to walk through certain doors since i know villagers are on the other side. I have no idea why though confused.gif

Have you ever replayed a game and got a difference expiernace then when you first played it? Please share your story ^_^

Icewind Dale. At first, I had no clue about the game, I was only 12 years old.. It was very frustrating. But then, I went to my grandmas house for a month, and I decieded to play it there. I sort of started to understand it, and how the game works. I had to go back to my house, and I stumbled upon a magazine with a "walkthrough" for the game. I just looked at the character guides, and used them. All of a sudden, I just stuck to the game. I don't know what it was, because the graphics sucked, and it was a pretty old game, seeing as I played it 2004/2005, but it was very fun.

Replaying games always give you a different idea of that game. The gameplay changes because maybe you got better at gaming. Things always happen. I remember sucking at this Duke Nukem game a while ago but yesterday I played it again and I was absoulutely ownage! happy.gif

I do this with all my games, to understand them better. cuz well most of you have to admit, when you start playing a game and even if you read it your still going "what the fark?" and then you play it a second time and its like "OHHHHH NOW I GET IT!"

anyway my most noticeable is

Final Fantasy 10. it was kinda "well ya okey we're in a big ass advanced city and 1000 years LATER its like med-evil shiz and kinda advanced shiz combined..? right however the fark that happened...Then i replayed it and i was just like "OOOHHH..!!!...I'm an idoit."

That's exactly what I did.
I remember in the first campaign, the one when you had to defend for like 25 minutes, I tried beating it without cheats as a kid... All I can say is I got owned, but hey, I was only 9 years old at most.
