[Brief History]
  This map isn't like that last Shadowlion map,it's almost a brand new one except lots of similar ideas, units ,spells ,parts of the story, and features.  But it doesn't mean it's limited to those.  What I am planning this map will have more features and more gameplay than a regular old hack-n-slash RPG.


[Story Briefing]
  In the present world, where a war is raging against demon forces for territory, a Shadowlion discovers a disasterly secret that has shoken that land of Tredor for centuries.

[Main Characters]
[Crow(Dark Templar)] Occupation - Shadowlion
(History) - Crow is in an elite stealth force called Shadowlions.  His is own motivations on his goals than being commanded on missions.  Crow is highly skilled in his stealth magic.
(Skills/Abilities) - His stealth abilities is meant to confuse and terrorize his enemies to his advantage as well as hiding in the shadows to play it safe.
Ability: Fade (Passive/Usable at Level 2)
- This ability will make Crow invisible to enemies for either getting to safety or attacking enemies stealthfully.

[Glenn(Zealot)] Occupation - Berserker
(History) - Glenn's history is yet to be known but will reveal more as the story progresses but is motavation is being one of the finest warriors of the land. 
(Skills/Abilities) - Other than being fast and steady with his blades, Glenn's abilities are just as deadly.  Some are very deadly he can take some recoil damage. 
Ability: Suicidal Shockwave (Direct/Usable at Level 2)
- Creates a Infested Terran at you only when at least 1 enemy is near you.  It is most useful in masses or attack a target without wasting to much time.  Of course you might deal damage to yourself also but there are ways to avoid it if you can.

[Guile(High Templar)] Occupation - Sorcerer
(History) - Guile comes from a high mage academy from the southeast but left it for his own goals on learning how to concocting hiw own powerful magic.  He is now a wanderer which later gets hired by the Shadowlion militia.
(Spells/Abilities) - Guile of course specialize in magic arts.  He has a wide variety of abilities that consists of defensive, offensive, summoning spells,and curses at his disposal as well as learning more deadly abilities on the way in progressing further.
Ability: Auto Barrier (Passive/Usable at Level 1)
- This ability allows Guile to absorb damage using his shield points instead of his HP as long as he has enough mana to keep it up.  On a side note, any damage doing more his shields will do a little damage to his HP.

[Features]
[(Spells/items - Shuttle system)]
- The shuttle so far contains the use potions and 4 abilities.  Other than the shuttle, there will be addition spells and items to use.
- Each character will have different unique spells at their disposal.
[(Mana Counter - Timer Spells)]
-As spells/abilities I listed above they are classified as passive or direct spells.
-Direct spells will subtract that amount of mana when you use it.
-Passive spells are that they last as long as you have mana.  They won't subtract the amount but will gradually drain it to 0.  When it reaches 0, the spell will stop working.
[(Items)]
-Healing Potion: Heals HP. 
-Mana Stone(accessory): Increases mana regeneration rate.
(More items to be coming.)
[(Leveling/Exp System)]
-Party Experience Share - When a character gets a kill, the rest of the party gets 1/5 of the exp so no more exp. hogging.
-Max Level maybe up to 30(Uncertain)

When you told me earlier today you were gonna open a thread for the new Shadowlion I was like, " ranting.gif about F***KING TIME!"
To all of those of you who don't know, Shadowlion was a map published on SEN last year, and due to a system crash and only having protected files of his map, shadow could not continue it cry.gif . And in my opinion, his other map was destined to become the greatest rpg ever completed in sc. Now with the insurance that this map will be much greater, you can expect this rpg to be a clean swipe across the deck for all those wannabe half-baked rpgs out there. Anyway that's my 2cents of an opinion, fix up some of the spelling and grammar on ur post and keep going shadow! Show em what a rpg is really made of!

P.S. We need to see that Team PDF logo over there buddy cool1.gif . Ise don't see it!

Updates:
-Added the experience/leveing system(Updated the post)
-Intro is completed as well as the option to skip it
-The Characters are now selectable for use
-Spell/item casting outline finished

Future Updates/Planning:
-Towns,Items,monster dwellings,terrain
-Puzzles in dungeons and open fields

I just noticed you used ice as the tileset. Hasn't seen many ice tileset rpgs, mostly badlands and jungle. Hope you use the terrain to your advantage. Sprites from other tilesets can also add the taste of other worlds. However, ice is still rather flexible. Neways, good luck. We need Screenies!

Yea, one of my favorite tilesets to work with is ice. I can add lots of detailing on the terrain giving it sort of an ice age/icy look.

Screenshots will be posted soon since intro is fixed up and done. I will be working on a lot of updates for it today, I'll be adding in enemies, towns, and dungeons today later.

Enter_thedragon or something made a cool ice rpg called Iceage or something on ice tileset

Updates:
-The Intro is complete,music and all
-Finally started on adding a first dungeon with enemies.
-Started putting abilities/spells in
-Added Starting items

From what I remembered from the last Shadowlion, the intro was pretty interesting. But then the gameplay...well, it was just a demo.

I like how you managed to incorperate standard unit properties such as cloaking and shields into 'passive' spells. Of course, that's actually not as rare as it seems to be.

I'll wait until more information is released before I make anymore assumptions.

The old demo should still be in the database somewhere. You and two people are welcome to try it out before I'm going to replace it with this current one tongue.gif. I did enjoy working on it and would still if my system didn't get swiped clean, so I plan on remaking it with more features and ideas into this one. The passive spells/abilities I make are mean't to be unique for the characters and abilties to help them, unlike some RPG's where spells are just for the show.

Well I'm still looking for some people that can help me with their opinion on the intro and possibly help testing on some parts of the map.

Can you add more secrets and the ability to play single player? Cuz I'm anti-social... O yeah, I never got to beat the first boss (w/ like three different parts w/ powerups) I played w/ Fortune, but he was away...

Sorry, I don't think I'll be making this a single player map...but I will add secrets of the game...maybe hidden items,quests,puzzles,or maybe some stuff i find reasonable to put in to enjoy it.

For the story, I am planning on making it branch off in different directions...you can view it yourself when you play it.

As planning for the spells/abilities I will be trying to design it so it will be helpful to the use and compliment other character's abilities so teamwork will be a requirement to get further. For an example, the auto-barrier would help Guile very helpful towards him, and being able to storm himself in the middle of enemies would be a good combintation. There are other ways to use the abilities for max flexibility and effect.

I still need testers, but it might be best if I test it on west cause I think I lag a bit when playing on east...

Anyway, I'm enjoying remaking the map right now.
Here's a scoop...Finally implemented mana counter, I can control the mana rate they get so the characters will have different rates on getting mana. Sorcerer can use his first spell right away when in control and mana rate is highest of the heroes. The 2 other characters will have to level to use it. I've put in their first spells too.

somehow like an old map, keeping some ideas and putting in new ideas as well.
Anyway i'm almost done with the dungeon,just need some testing.I am now planning out a town and more stuff to put in. I am thinking this might be better than the old one...but thats just me...
