Ideas
Generic timeline. Map will not totally be about the Battle of Hastings, but will also have events that lead up to it. IE. Tostig Earl of Northumbria is exiled from Nothumbria and plans his revenge by attacking England with the help of Harald Hardrara the Invincible.

Each player will have their own unique unit as always.

Every country is playable but England will all be seperated among 4 players. Each will have their own hero.

Northumbria - Tostig Earl of Northumbria
Wessex - Harold Earl of Wessex
East Anglia - Gyrth Earl of East Anglia
Carmathen - Leofwine Earl of Kent

Hmm, is this single player? Or multiplayer with people being different sides (meaning it may not follow up with history).

The base can have special buildings that spawn units over time. These buildings cannot be built, but can be outposts than can be captured to recruit more troops as the army journey across the land.

That could seriously be one of these worst Englands+Surrounding area I have ever seen. Sorry, revise it for poeple take you seriously.

Yeah, the map does seem very out of proportion. I see that you're trying to fit the whole United Kingdom in while only having the bottom of England. That's why everything is all distorted and cramped. Apparently there's no land directly on the bit poking out at Wales. Ireland should be moved up a bit, the degree of slope France has is steeper (your one is almost flat.) The border ofEngland and Scotland is also too wide. Norway shouldn't even on the minimap according to your map's scale. The distance between Norway and England according to your scale should be at least the width of England wide. Oh and also, I don't think there's a huge island in the English Channel.

Ok, I agree on the Norway part. But no one knows that.

You'd think he was trying to do a map within the limitations given to him, thus the distortion. Who cares if its not perfect, maybe it cant be.

Update: Added France, England, and city money triggers as well as some of the timeline triggers. I'm doing this map from 1000-1066

I saw a map called "Battle of Hastings" and joined it. Its made by some SSJ4 goku guy. It had all the countrys like yours, coincidence? (booted before I finished dl)
