Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Perfect Music Looping System?

Is there one? I can't use the death system, because it screws up when I try to use it because I've already used the death system for something elce. And the waiting system always seems to be off and sounds wrong :/ So does anyone know if there's another way to loop music?

You sure you used all values and units for your death counter system? In that case...use a score countdown system? You're going to have to be careful with the scorings if you decide to do so though. Since most games don't involve killing structures, you could have a free razing score to use as a timer for music.

How would the triggers be set up?
And yes I'm sure. If I wasn't sure, I wouldn't have made the forum. Most problems I correct on my own.

I think the countdown system could work but the waiting system can work its just a little harder to make it sound right

If your song is pretty short u could do what (U)Bolt_Head did and cut it into wavs of 1 second each than when u want it off its instant off and its easier to do the waits for 2

Phant, if I say it doesn't work, then it doesn't work. I know what I'm talking about.
And uh... Help me out and read -.- I told you what I'm doing. I need a different looping system for music.

I'll try a countdown.

An alternative to death counters would be making a similar type of counter by creating lots and lots of burrowed units.. once there are X amount of burrowed units (lets just use 100 for an example), then remove all the units, start the music again, and start the spawning again. If this creates a problem with the map unit limit, you could do something where it spawns a zling on a counter, but replace a hydralisk for every 10 zlings, and then reset once there are 10 hydras.

If you have used every death counter, score counter, ore, gas, AND have no room for a 1x1 spawning locatin on your map or there are lots of units, then you could actually do a LONG chain of switch combinations, but that would take forever because you would have to make a trigger per tick. If you have used every switch... well, then I'm just out of ideas tongue.gif

I'm usen a different way tongue.gif I thought of myself.
Using a unit to walk to the place tongue.gif And it takes 13 seconds, so it's all good ^_^
