How do you cloak buildings?

Disable them right?

There not cloaking anymore. I've seen them fully dispeering before too. How do you do that?

yea, disabling buildings is a popular way of cloaking the...but i think only a few buildings are stable for cloaking such as a bunker and maybe some other units also...but most of them are unstable and crash starcraft when viewed ingame by a player. Here's the link for some info.

well for some reason they just become unclickable. I can stil lsee them, they are cloaked (still there), but i can see them.

When cloaked they should be CLOAKED, or with the new patch, invisible

For your doing bunkers,i think it said to put detectors near them then they'll work. I've done it also were bunkers are visible just not clickable.

When you disable buildings you don't have vision with, then you will still see them despite being unable to click on them or attack them directly. There are a few possibilities. You can create an remove a detector unit that you own around the disabled buildings, that will make them appear cloaked to you afterwards. Alternatively you can have the enemy share vision with you then turn off vision; that will make them appear cloaked properly. If you don't want the player to see any of the map around the disabled units then have your own vision turned off. Then turn on the enemy's shared vision with you, turn it off, and turn the player's shared vision back on. You will gain no extra insight into the layout of the map, but the disabled buildings will still cloak properly.

More buildings can cloak than can't. A healthy amount of the Terran buildings cloak safely via the doodad state disabling method, as do most Protoss buildings and a few special buildings (like the Protoss Temple).
