When I was really little, I watched Doom 2, but this isn't first one you watched. The first first person shooter game I played was probably Halo for Xbox. One of my friends got an Xbox and Halo as soon as they came out, and so we played Halo whenever I went over there. I wasn't supposed to be playing Halo, since it was rated M, and I was --what, 9? But we played anyway. What was your first FPS game?

Doom well, not full game. But, a person at Game Maker forums made the first 3D FPS engine for GM 5.2/5.3a

The first FPS game i've played was wolfenstine(think thats how you spell it). It's an old game but got pretty amazing in the time it came out. But I like the Doom series now.

007 Goldeneye 64, sweet game, my dad bought it for me when I waslike... 9 or so. It was pretty sweet. I always was that midget guy with the one hit killing hat. xD

Golden Eye whenever I rented it or played at my friends house. There might have been something before there though.

Wolfenstien 3D.
When I was a kid I played a lot more FPS/Simulation games, but I tend to play a lot less than before. I switched over to educational games till about 2nd grade, when I was introduced to Age of Empires and Starcraft ( I think. )

Either the wolfenstine or doom back in like.. 95. It was really scary fighting all of those monsters at nighttime by myself. Great games anyway. That was way back on the ol' macintosh.

I never really like FPS until recently where I just play it. ANyways, I think the first time I saw someone play was my friend's dad who played Duke Nukem and the first time I actually played was Golden Eye for N64.

Wolfenstein 3D was probably my first.
I sorta skipped the doom thing, because doom was pure shiz compared to duke3d which I ended up playing a lot...but UT '99 as they call the original now is one I still play. I played it today, as a matter of fact

Wait... One came in the Honeycomb box too? I remember the Chex one, where you were Chexman, and it was a total spoof of Doom, and you would run around getting weapons that had to do with breakfast (like a spork, or lightning gun toaster) and you would kill all the slime thingees. What was the plot of the game?
