Basiclly, it starts with Chronos going to a recently abandoned outpost, and leading the Atlantian forces, played by the Terrans against the 'Egyptians', played by the Zerg, then the Norse, played by the Protoss, come in to it, helping the Atlantians, then some Atlantians seperate and become the Greek, played by the Terrans.
Any Ideas on how to make it better?
How many players? How many sides do you get to play?
I'd do some research on the gods and create some interesting characters. I've read in my communications technology class in the video game chapter that the most addictive video games have usually always been ones with good stories in them.
Maybe part of leading your troops is also listening to the prayers of your people, which affects moral and their willingness to fight for you, perhaps?
Chronos is the son of Oranos, who is the current leader of the Atlantian counsil. The Titans are members of the council, with the Egyptian, Greek, and Norse gods being the leaders of their respective races. There are four side in the campaign, and it is single player (though I'm working on a multiplayer mission or two as well).
I'm not sure how the triggers for morale will work though.
Why do they have to be different races? As far as I know we humans look almost the same.
What I'm trying to say is, why not rename ie. Zealot to Foot soldier and make it being used by all forces? All kinds of forces have Foot soldiers
because each race has different techs and in this campaign, the nations ARE different races, with the Greeks coming off from the Atlantians.
