I stopped playing it...I had a relatively ok amount of stuff NL, ebotdz, exile, lvl 86 zealer, Ap fort, etc etc... (no CoA though)

but the game just gets gay after a while. On ladder i had a hammerdin with garbage equip but still not too bad.

I played for the first few months after the new runewords came out, made a pretty nice Zealer with some decent runewords and items (Aside from Crown of Ages, I can't recall any of the items or runewords he had), played on NL a little bit doing those new bosses, then I just called it quits... I'm hoping by the time I have another Online RPG Craving I'll have access to WoW or something

i played it for a few months since new patch for it came out...i'd say im pretty rich but im sticking with sc for a bit...
I played ladder,made an amazon that got up to level 99,its one of the top 10 overall and amazon ladder,character name is TekaZon on uswest.

I played the expansion for a well 1 and a half year, I quit it after the "great banning" because i lost my 89 pvp sorc and a 85 mf sorc and 87 java pvp zon. So yea...

Be proud. I could go into detail about why sitting in baal runs until you're lvl 89, 87, and 85 is NOT someting to be proud of, but, I won't. I could explain how a game that has no user creativity is not something that great. I could explain how much better Starcraft and Warcraft III are, with their custom mapping system that would let someone MAKE Diablo 2 if they really wanted to as a war3 map. I could bother going into detail about how a game whose design involves playing through the game on a harder difficulty is programmed into it to be the "fun" part is retarted, etc, etc.

I'll just stay mostly quiet, and say, I disagree with you.

Diablo II... WHOA! Such a great game. I never played online because my computer was crappy at the time and kept laggin. So I stopped playing for a while and started using hacks. Trust me.. It isn't fun anymore when you start hacking... Anyways... I reached the height of level 53 amazon on single player without cheating.

Blizzard ruiined the game with patches. I had over a thousand spell upgrades, and had a sword that shot arrows before then.
