i thought we need another contest, and we could use something new in installation.
it might be used in a map im probably going to make in installation, but if it is i will give credit, heres the rules...
[center]Best Installation Piece Contest[/center]
The Theme:
The theme is abandoned, like a terran complex that has been abandoned because of a zerg take over or something. So broken things are a must, busted walls are good to use. Be sure to make it seem like it was once a terran complex by having rooms like science labs and security areas.
Basic Rules:
1. Pm me the piece to prevent stealing...
2. It has to be in installation
3. It cant be anything really big, if its like an entire hallway, it most likely wont count, so if you want to make something big, do so and only enter the best small pieces in it.
4. You can use sprites and units (traps, doors) to make it more ambient.
5. It has to look good. Use the installations floor plating to make it look better.
6. Triggers are suggested (if your going to use triggers, pm me the whole map)
7. In game images if you can, if you cant, turn the grid off before you screenshot it
Extra Information:
You can post with any questions not answered in here. i am the only judge for this right now, i might change it to have other judges, or make it a vote for the best once its done. Theres no finishing date right now, ill just wait untill i get enough pieces, and then make it a weeks or 2 from then.
no limit on entrys, just dont like spam me...

Because that doesn't look abandoned / attacked from a zerg takeover. This is probably just what I was looking for.

and that is still blocky at places...
the abandoned thing is, like, imagine a terran science labs place, and zerg escape from their cells or something, and kill alot of people, and everyone has to escape, the zergs flee, but theres still bodys and other things destroyed. make it look like that...

I do, I'm going to start a weekly problem in the Lite Decussion Thread and there will be a prize of 20 minerals for the right answer. I want to do this every week.

Damn! PodFedJay hit the nail on the head. Yeah, it was supposed to be a bed, but there isnt a unit or a sprite that looks like a real bed. Willhem, I suggested your peice, don't get mad at me.

I'm not. I'm mad at 5(U) for, (no offense to you, a_of_s_t), saying something that is essentially normal isom with units and sprites over it is better then one of my pieces. I will try to participate in this.

Lol, my peice took me... what was it, an hour, 2 hours? O! I remember! It was 5 minutes, it took me 5 minutes to make it 
, no offense Willhem, but some (not all) people think my 5 minute work is better then yours, which I am gueesing took you over 30 minutes to an hour. I am starting on an installation peice (Ophelia) and I'll send some pics of the map to the hoster.
