Specifications


-Players
7! (Well currently 6, because nothing for p7 works for some unknown reason)

-Map tileset
Arctic. Can't change it to ash, so it stays arctic.

-Map size
64x96.

-Player Interface
Drop a ghost to pruchase a hydra for 2 min, which will appear under your ovie.
Normal hydras have 1+1 attack and normal range.

Drop a bat for a hero hydra for 7 mins.
Hero hydras have 4+2 attack and extended range.

Drop a scv to sell back the hydras under the ovie for full price.

Upgrades start at 12 and go up by 4.

-What's new in your map that others have not done before?
Create stacked hydras where you want to.
Players can stay and watch after losing.


Timeline


3/15 - 40 levels. Back to 6 lives.
3/13 - Some terrain changes. 5 lives.
3/9 - Up to 25 lvls. Made everything harder, since it was too easy. Changed death count to p8.
3/8 - Hero hydras and sell back. Got rid of time skipper.
3/7 - Better, though not perfect, antiwalling system. Fixed small bugs.
3/6 - Change map size. Various terrain changes.
3/5 - 20 levels. More efficient level system.
3/4 - Completed levels system.
2/27 - Hydra drop system completed.
2/25 - Idea thought of. Map started

u should do this. make a location elevated and make it so that it moves to a location then that moves it to the start.

Anyway, I've upgraded it to ver 0.7

Things fixed:
1 tile space between players land
64x96 size
Some terrain changes
Start out with civ belonging to p8 then giving to whoever's there.

That would kinda make it uneven if you put it as give 1 unit to x player and preserve trigger
Why not just do it like player x commands any unit
create civs

Also hydra d exist

No, the civ is just to skip the timer.

Changes made today:
Implemented the antiwalling system I mentioned in the other thread.
Fixed the unmoveable hydra problem.

Hopefully by tomorrow, there'll be hero hydras and selling back hydras.

Simple map that I have failed to create.. I could have made this instead of spending my time in SEN forums... Ill think of a cool name though...


I suggest more features like heroes and munney system. This probably means restart, buddy.

No, actually it means adding in 7 simple triggers for heros for each player. Money is already here... minerals. closedeyes.gif

ADDITION:
Well, it actually took more than 21 triggers for heroes and sell back, but I got them.

Updates today:
Hero hydras (7 mins. They do 4+2)
Sell back hydras for full price
Also, I got rid of the timer skipper, since red could lose and still control the levels.

I also noticed that absolutely nothing works for p7. I don't know why; all the triggers are the same from player to player. confused.gif

ADDITION:
DL the new version 0.82 and see the screeenies up there.

Updates:
25 levels.
Made everything harder, since it was kinda easy.
Changed death counter from p7 to p8... dunno if p7 still doesn't work.

how do you stack your hydralisks if they can't move? how do u stop them from moving?

It auto stacks... Trigger:

Always.
====
Move all hydra at 'place' to 'unmoveable'.
Preserve.

Have unmoveable be unmoveable terrain, such as null, water, etc.

Then there's a trigger so that when a ghost is dropped, a hydra is created at that place.

if u try moving or creating on water itll just say unit unplaceable. Do you have a preview i can try and see what you mean? also what is an ovie?

My trigger is that when you drop a ghost, it creats a burrowed hydra for p8 somewhere, moves it under the ovie (overlord), unburrows it, and gives it to p1. The trigger to keep it stacked is another trigger. This way, when u drop a ghost, a hydra is created under the ovie and it stays there. If you drop another ghost at the same place, another hydra will be created in the same place, and it will also be unmoveable. If they can't move, they have to stay on top of each other, thus stacking.

im making a map like this.. kinda (unit stack defence)

u can stack ghosts,vultures,tanks,goliaths,marines,etc etc

and they stack automaticly.. exept.. i didnt use the same system u did for stacking the hydras... im using something kenoli showed me.. its quite cute

Made the levels come one at a time as opposed to all 3 at once.
Added "ads" at bottom, basically a bunch of units junkyard dogging.

I might change it to 5 enemies per level, what do you guys thnk?

Anyway, I've decided to name this Über Hydra D, since AI Hydra D is just basically the same name as AI Lurk D.

Even though I dont know that much about your map but maybe some of these may help:


- Hydra Defender


- Hydralisk Defender


- On You Own Hydra D


- Hydra D On Your Own


- Defend the Hydras


- Defense of the Hydras


- Defense of the Hydralisks


- Killer Defender Hydras



These are lame and may not help you, but mixing them together may help you come out with a name, and it may get some other people to think of some names. I always had some problems making name sup for my games too. As you can probably tell. lol
