I dont quite understand what your saying here but, one thing that happend when using xtra was when I was scrolling over some null terrain a bunch of images would appear on the null but do not effect it in any way in the game. You can get rid of this part by simply clicking anywere else on the mini-map and back.

As someone else already said, null terrain will do that, however, if you mean that now that you have added square terrain to your map, you are unable to place isom, that is caused by the tile index becoming corrupted by placing square terrain. The solution for both problems is to use an editor other than X-tra, such as SCMDRAFT2, or Starforge.

Screw xtra! SCMD2 is way better, less buggy and can do square and isom terrain. Plus the tileset index. Just dont use it.

Yeah, I would suggest just using SCMDraft. It's far, far superior to X-tra edit. Especially now with TrigEdit Classic. closedeyes.gif

The reason this is happening is because the null tile (0-0) cannot be rendered in Starcraft X-tra, because it is a mod of the original staredit. Blizzard didn't typically design in mind of future 3rd party projects.

To stop this, replace the null terrain with a different null tile that isnt 0-0

There is no xtra support thread, only StarForge and SCMD.

because Xtra is now obsolete. And SF pretty much is 2.

I would disagree on SF being obsolete, there are things that you can do in starforge involving illegal unit properties that cannot be done in SCMDRAFT 2, also, you can't place extended units in SCMDRAFT 2.
