Ok this is really starting to tick me off now, the trigger simply refuses to work at all. I have done text displaying in many maps and this one refuses to work at all.
Trigger
Players:
¤ All Players
Conditions:
¤ Always.
Actions:
¤ Display text message to current player: bla bla bla
If anybody can find why it is not running please tell me.
Trigger should be under "All players" (There is two, the first one would not work 2nd is test)
EDIT: Wont let me attach map. -.-
It
should be displaying it once at the very beggining of the map, then just disappearing. But it could have something to do with the condition "Always." Try it again with the condition that uses elapsed game time.

Yea I have done that using bring, command, elapsed time. No dice. Also I am using SCMDraft and once in a while I will get a pop up that says classic triggedit out of sync or something like that.
You should report it to SI in the SCMDraft support board, then. He'll want to know if his program isn't working.

I'm not sure what your triggers are, but maybe you have two display messages with the same conditions. This would cause them both to fire, one right after another, so when you display the first message, it is instantly replaced by another one. If this is the case, check your triggers and add a wait to the second message. If this isn't the case, i suggest you delete and re-download SCM draft(They might have made a correction or added a new update). If all else fails, I am completely confused with this question. Who knows, maybe i am just missing the picture completely.
Another possible problem is that for whatever reason you don't have the checkbox "always display" checked. I don't know how SCMdraft has this option but in Starforge you would need to make always display set to 4.
If this option is not selected then it will not show up unless you have "show subtitles" selected in your Starcraft sound options.
Ok to eleborate. If you use SF it doesnt follow .chk format and will give you an error in SCMD but it will be fixed. The trigedit out os sync is just an error because errors are ran through that program tell SI about what you were doing when that happened. I SEVERLY DONT RECOMMEND USING SF AT ALL. Only thing to use it for is briefing and quick stack(i heard that quick stack is being added in to beta 3).
The error is either because SCMD lacks an option to automatically select always display. It does this because of trigger comments and such(in classic edit) but works fine in trig edit. Or its being skipped because its pushed up by another message(I doubt this because he woulda specified that).
SO REMEMBER TO SELECT ALWAYS DISPLAY.

Or turn subtitles on in Starcraft.
