How long does it take for a nuke to appear at it's target from the time you set the target?
Do you mean when it appears, when it is right over it's target, or when it has exploded and caused damage?
I think he is probably talking about the time from when the red dot starts to blink and it says nuclear launch detected to the time when the missle falls from the sky
I am guessing it all depends how far away the base where the nuke is coming from, before hitting its target. As I think it is, that the farther the target the longer the nuke takes?
Does anybody wanna test it out?
It obviously doesn't have to do with teh distance between the bases. It would be stupid if it was so. It is always the same.
I am guessing about 15 seconds if not 10.

Why would it be stupid if it was? It would make sense because a nuke being fired from a base farther then where its intended to go would make it longer to get there.
It will make the game more realistic, but it will also make the game longer and more boring. I didn't mean to say the idea was stupid, but rather that no one uses nuke anyway and this will be another obstacle to using nuke.
I personally used nuke many times. I used it almost everywhere. But, I didn't see the time delay when it landed. So therefore, I don't think there is time delay on distance.
Well then the only answer here is, make a test map and see.
i think the time between getting sign "nuclear launch detected" & the boom is about 15 seconds. so the time before missile appears in the sky should be about 12-13 sec.
From my test by counting down with death counters (without the usage of hypertriggers), it took approx. 13-15 death counts until the nuke hit the floor.
