Yeah, I've been to CC sometime ago back when I was a super map newb lol, but yeah, it kinda didn't seem that active even then. I've heard of SME somewhere before but never bothered to look it up (since I have little interest in mods).
But anyways, hope it turns out okay, maybe it will even become another affiliate of SEN, who knows...

Wow. SME and CC are two of the biggest Starcraft modding assistance sites out there. I dare say that it would be very interesting to see a merge...maybe it would provoke them into getting their act together and actually UPDATING their five-year-old tutorials...

You guys should check them out. SME has a few projects that never got finished, and anyone that wants to pick up the strings is (I'm sure) more than welcome. Plus, our tutorials are great (some of them are featured here). I wrote one myself.

Ok, more news. Warbringer87, the guy who originally proposed the merge, is in charge of CC as of recently, and is looking to merge with not just SME, but Star Alliance and SEN (this site) as well. I personally think SEN will want to stay seperate.
