is there an possible way to make a ground grid for a unit that is also on the ground???? if so plz post
Yes please i do not understand non proper english :\
Well you would have to take into account that the unit is on the ground, and so you would have to subtract one unit each time you created the grid, roughly, depending on what units your using to grid, and what unit your gridding. I doubt it would be a strait grid either, as the units would shift around slightly. Ground grids don't work near walls either.
I would advise to stay away from ground grids, but whatever.
If it is a mobile grid then I don't think it would be reliable.
However if it is a static grid, use burrowed ground units.
Also if you are using a grid just to track location you may want to use a zoning method to get coordinates.

I wouldn't work the same as a normal grid, but I could see uses for it.
I don't know exactly how the units would spawn around a certain unit. I think it also depends on what units you are using for the grid and what unit it would be created around.
