I'm trying to have 1 of 4 random events occur every 2 minutes on a countdown but it's not working.
Heres what I have:


Trigger
Description:
Trigger 1
Players:
¤ All Players
Conditions:
¤ Always
Actions:
¤ Modify Countdown Timer: Set to 120 seconds.



Trigger
Description:
Trigger 2
Players:
¤ All Players
Conditions:
¤ Countdown timer is exactly 0 game seconds.
Actions:
¤ Modify Countdown Timer: Set to 120 seconds.
¤ Preserve Trigger.

Description:
Trigger 3
Players:
¤ All Players
Conditions:
¤ Countdown timer is exactly 2 game seconds.
Actions:
¤ Set 'Switch 1'
¤ Randomize 'Switch 2'
¤ Randomize 'Switch 3'
¤ Preserve Trigger

ADDITION:
Okay, I figured it out, I just needed to change the conditions on Trigger 3 for 5+ seconds.

im not sure what you want and im not the best at randomzizing triggers
in fact i have never used random things but i do know that there is a Tutorialfor this

I like my system for randomization better, but since you've already figured it out, and I'm lazy, I won't post it now. tongue.gif

You should use set countdown to 180, since in fastest, the countdown speed is 1.5x faster than what you set it to.

While in the game ur countdown timer will not go with the regualr time. Its going to go with the game. When setting the speed to fastest your timer will go i think 1/3 faster then usual. Thats why noober said to set the countdown timer 1 minutes higher (add 60 seconds). I beleive withyour triggers Text, it might appear twice or more if your using hpyer trigger. But then again you solved it again.

I hate this randomization method. Its outdated, a waste of switches and requires an insane amount of triggers. Use heimdels one that is in the tutorial. 64 actions with 6 triggers i think.

There is a tutorial on it and a map showing how to use it perfectly. Go to randomization tutorial. And to find map go to the DLDB and search it.
