I am working on a map currently and it entails a single crash unit; the sprite crash unit. Now I don't know if any of you have had the problem before where you put the crash unit in the map and random players randomly crash who do not have Map Hack even on or even loaded. This happens every other test and I know the crashing player cannot even see the said location inwhich the sprite crash is, now my question is: How do I fix this said scenario, or is there an alternative to the sprite Anti-MH, that still works on Inhale? I read the damned tutorial, don't bring that up.

[sub]Map hacks have protection from all the sprites that crash. Also, they work client side only so programs like penguin plug can no longer detect them, also, because they are client side, tricks like probes on a hill, also no longer work.[/sub]

I've yet to see a hack not crash from my bunker-based system. As with any anti-hack system, though, if non-hacking players can see the unit, they will crash. The unit must be placed such that it is only visible with maphack.

If its a UMS then why would you need anti-hack for?
I dont think it's that much necessary.

By the way hack to win = noobs
I would like to hear more about stuff like this; hack, anti-hack

If your playing a Snipers game then an anti-hack would be much preferred.

Such hacks as Inhale disable/interfere with disabled units. So those are useless.

I will disregard all the other stupid posts and focus on this one, now then what is this said system?
I know of the anti sprite protection, I just want to have that in to protect from most Map Hacks, oh and you can only see shadows when you have that on and in my game scenario that puts you at great disadvantage; hence it's just easier to not hack. The sprite crash works fine for me but it randomly causes players to crash who are NOT hacking, what the hell? I need a system that has no common errors like that and this bunker system you briefly mentioned seems like a winner.

Just place a Protoss Marker. Crashes anything, including inhale, if they see it.

I think one of my friends mentioned this before, I thought the anti-sprite would get past it though. sad.gif
