In Game Systems

Turn Base Combat System- This is bassicly what makes this game unique, I have it so you do NOT control ur characters in battle, you only choose what and when they attack, use  a skill, or an item and yes I already have the dual-tech and tri-tech techniques in it

Item System-Just a basic Item system with an inventory spot on the map

Random Battle System- Bassicly I have a turret that shoots a an observer and when it kills enough it starts a battle for you and rerolls the system and stops while ur in battle

71mb map might be a little too much...and its only single player?

well this might be a suggestion, but you should take out the music during the testing phase so that it won't clog out too much time and put in the music when your done cause putting in music is easy.

well i'd like to see how you go on this and even though i am a fan of chrono trigger and like to see unique battle systems be displayed on rpg maps, go for it. and post up more info if you can

its 71 mb cuz the music, and i disable all the music when i test but yeah im about to start making the part where you fight in the tyranus castle and kill azala

I passed RE4 over to my freind even tho he is kind of an ametur and ive been working on this longer, and besides im gonna make it 1 player so no worries for b-net

im almost done with it, im working on the terrain of the tyrannus castle right now :)ill post screenshots of each characters unit soon!

ill have testers soon, i gotta redo the fighting system its running slow even with hyper triggers, i need to use less switches itll be more effective, so there is probably gonna be a delay on progress for a while

i figured out why my system wasnt working well, dual techs and tri techs + lever requirments, so now ill just have a normal attack 4-8 spells that can be unlocked by level and 3-6 attacks but it depends for what character it is

P.S MAGUS IS A DARK TEMPLAR AND YES IM PUTTING IN HIS DARK MAGIC ATTACKS!!

4mbs to spare duce lol 75mbs = max sounds allowed in map happy.gif; 71mbs isnt too bad for a 1 player map, + adds extra feel to map having the music, will combat system be somewhat like chrono trigger? didnt really give much info but good luck with it hope its good as chrono trigger =) expect on sc happy.gif;

the combat system involves hotkeying, however you DO NOT control the units movment in battle, you only choose what they attack using and when but when u use an attack u cant keep pressing a button to keep attacking, there is a delay just like chrono trigger ofabout 6 seconds so its pretty much the same as the chrono trigger engine, same with the way u run into enemies! happy.gif

Ah k, so units will randomly move around the section of that map? Engine sounds fun to trigger =). Will Combo Tech Moves also be added? Kinda fun do them sometimes if ya had the mp to do it. Can't wait play first bit at festival ^_^ always loved playing drink game hehe so much fun.

I have some screenshots of the map but i cant find the directory it goes to since it isnt saved into my starcraft folder i dont know where they are
