Staredit Network -> UMS Assistance -> Stacking With Zerg-For A Defense Map

In my Choose Your Stacked D map, you can choose to be terran, protoss, or zerg. I have the terran and the protoss done, stackingh bunkers and all works, using the supply depot method. For zerg I have a simple system set up that regenerates your drone when you build something, the problem I have is with stacking zerg. If you use normal stacking methods, lights on/off, the drone won't build... It can't even stack something where it can reach the middle of the building site, such as a hatchery.

I was wondering if the supply depot method for stacking bunkers would work with stacking sunken colonies and spore colonies, say it stacks a sunken colony when you build a spire. I can't get this method to work for me, when I build a spire, the terran method (changed around to suit zerg) will crash the game if I look at where the sunken colony is moved to. I think this is because sunken colonies cant be disabled but, instead of supply depots stacked in the bottom corner I have a different location (2x2) with pylons that remove and sunken colonies are moved to.

If anyone has any ideas, please post, no spam plz. helpsmilie.gif

How bout stacking sunkens in a unviewable place in the editor
and stacking spires in that area, if u bring a air unit over it and unload a unit, 1 of the stacked spires become urs, u remove 1 spire, move 1 sunken to that location

Since stacking was disabled with Zerg, very strange methods have come up. In my many test maps I have found the following methods, even though others have found them too. (In Mapping, no one has found anything first; someone has found it before. At least it seems like that)

Put it in the shadows so you see the creep but do not see the building. (Make sure you cannot see ANY building there). Don't know if it works. (I just thought it up smile.gif) Nope.

If that does not work, put shadows and make sure you cannot see the creep EVER. Then you can build a pylon or turret there then replace it with a sunken.

If that gets to complicated you can put stacks of buildings, then kill one on each stack and put a creep colony near it. The creep will creep under the building and you can build there. Then when you want to build on the stack, just kill one building and that spot becomes buildable.

lol, that was complicated biggrin.gif
well wy make somekind of sunken build by scv, i thougth the whole thing was that you made it by a drone ermm.gif and it still doesnt work couse if u change a cannon (for example) to a sunken it will just say "warning too manny 'blablabla' units"?

Yeah stacking was disabled for zerg because of the old zerg stack hack. Now they have one for Protoss & Terran. You know what that means right. No stacking PERIOD. (gulp)
