Well here are some Terrain Examples for My Upcomming RPG

Not bad, although most of the works mainly involve cliffs and ramps. It seems kinda empty for some reason. Nothing too new, and that's pretty much all I have to say. You can also disregard all my comments, since I know nothing about extended terraining.

It's too open. It looks like:
1. a waste of space
2. a chore to get to one place to another

I know this not cuz I'm a terrain master, but cuz I got criticized for this -_-

You seriously need to go outside more. I've attempted doing this and it takes hours for me... All in all its nice but there's too many plains and cliffs... Add some winding valleys and stuff... Not bad though

It only takes hours if you have no idea what your doing, but way to be an ass. I like some of the ramps, but the rest is nothing new.

There Ok, but i still think terrain is not the most important part of an RPG. i think things to do are. and gameplay. Good luck tongue.gif

It's ok, it could be worked on, and it seems a little empty. It's also nothing really new. Very amateur-like terrain. wink.gif Work on it and it could be a lot more better tongue.gif

Most of it will all be filled with buildings or talking NPC's.

[sub]Very nice ramps, no blockyness I can see. And no sprites! Very nice terrian, fill in the empty ness and it will be very nice.[/sub]

It would take me a few hours to get an effective, efficiant, open-feel but still compact, professional, highly detailed, interesting to anyone's eye, mirror and repetitive-tile free, handsom, sexay, newb-appreciated, happy-go-lucky, Wilhelm liked, triggamastta liked, hitokr1r liked, WoodenFire liked terrain.

Actually, more then a few hours. About a week for a screen the size ingame.

Time should not be a roadblock.

Alright i have no more use for this topic, that terrain is old and outdated, i have found much more blends and im not only using cliffs anymore.
