hey i have been looking for the proper raccoon city for ages its a really good map does any 1 have it because i have a bunch of maps that are really shiz and rigged to the shiz house and are simply to easy and im looking for the REAL raccoon city for a challenge its made by panzer_kavalier it is a defence map thx for the help

Take the ones that you say are rigged and un-rig them....More work but you can take it away easily!

if you won't find it in the DL database, go to b-net, & find it there.

Yeah thats the thing I don't actually know what the proper un-rigged version is and not only is it rigged but some of the triggers are missing, so things don't work. Also I have begun fixing it but I will have to go into P12 mode then go around changing them all back to their original players. I would much prefer to get the proper official version but I can never get that off b-net does Panzer have a offical site or something?

No he doesnt. Hes retired and in iroaq. Bless him for he is my hero and idol. Hes what got me into map making. I have a few versions i did myself off of his that i unrigged but no origionals. PM me if youd like one.

Retired? I spoke to him on US West about two weeks ago... I played Urban Combat with him and he told me some secrets about Raccoon City. I'm guessing that was someone else?

Panzer has had an impersenator on his SC and WC3 accounts for about 3 1/2 years. (The ass reregistered his accounts after they expired.) I was privaledged to talk to the real him on WC3 about 2 yrs ago which was the last time he was on.

Panzer made some interesting maps. What I liked best about them was the personality of them. Although his earlier maps did lack something, all mappers had to start somewhere.
There are rigged versions of his Racoon City game? They all seemed pretty difficult to me...

Theres an unrigged version of raccoon city in the dldb, although its fairly old.

blah u guys can play orginal if u want its ur choice...
some people accttally think they can beat the orginal just because they beat my ezer ver.... but w/e...u dont have to play the mod....your choice...and if u cant get orginal u dont play sc long enough?

you know if play my modded ver of Raccoon city...u can just get a few freinds make them play with u and not use any of the stuff i added...

From what I have managed to salvage from your posts, you think that adding air units to a game where the vast majority of attacking enemies cannot attack air is a good thing, and that incorporating an invisible unit into a game without detectors is also a good addition. All of the modified raccoon city maps I've ever seen have fixed maybe two bugs and added in a ton of rigs and bugs of their own. The second acadamy hasn't worked since the origionals, why?, because someone messed with the spawn triggers in their alterations, and inadvertantly made it essentially impossible for the squads to reach it.
Tell me one good thing that the newer versions add that isn't a bug fix, and I might consider playing one again.
