I need to get the CC connected to the Silo for Player 9. I can't get it connected in the editor and for some reason, when I play in the map, I'm completely unable to land buildings anywhere (and it is correct landing terrain with enough room).

Is there a way to connect them in the editor? If not, does anybody know what my landing issue is caused from?

ADDITION:
Hmm... I just realized, would I even be able to get Player 9 to use a nuke?

AFAIK, you cannot run any AI scripts for players 8+

Also, I believe Starforge does not have the ability to connect ANY kind of addon. SCMDraft2 probably can.

You can connect a Player 9 building with a Player 9 add-on in SCM Draft. As long as you don't move the building and the addon, change their owners, or mess with the four unknown boxes in the top right of the unit properties, they will stay connected.

Theoretically if you could figure out how the unknown numbers of the unit properties are calculated, you could connect them in StarForge, but it works connecting them with SCM Draft.

Just about everything works in SCMD but you p9 wouldnt be able to run the script so it is useless anyway.

In starforge try setting "Snap To grid" and see if that works.

Star Forge sucks! find a real editor!(scm or extra)

Well no really, star forge messes up lots of maps and i suggest using a more reliable editor. that just my opinion(dont freak out im probably not gonna read this forum again biggrin.gif )

You can't use starforge to attach addons. The only way I can get it to work is to use Xtra editor or the original editor, and like said before, there is no trigger to attack addons.

Also, Starforge is a good program for triggers and square terrain (although SCMDraft is good with that too) but yeah pretty much is bad with other things. What is considered a "real" editor?

you could make it owned by p12 but if there not there then the addon is still there and is ugly.

All addons are player 12, that is what StarEdit does to connect them.

O)FaRTy1billion has it right, addons are player 12.. Use SCMDraft like others said but it might as well just be for show

If you place an addon for p1 and p1 isnt there the addon wont show up on the map. if you place it for p12 then it will still be there even if the player is there.

Because that goes for all units and buildings. If the player is not in the game, their preplaced building won't show up...

Exactly my point of why it is better to place addons for that player instead of p12. Thank you for proving that.
