I havnt seen a final fantasy game in a while but then again they were making kingdom hearts 2... if you have any idea if they will ever make another Final Fantasy game for a game console like PS2 post here!

I think there should be a final chapter for the game sometime soon...I'm sick of all of the games. I'm just stuck with FF8, the worst one

I really think they should stop making Final Fantasy games. I am not to judge the gamming quality since I've never really played it thourougly, but I don't think any games should have that manny continuations even if they don't always link to each other and are for different consoles. Just end the series.

well they should just name their games something else another than final fantasy...but its up to them...i think they're gonna make it ironic though, for all we know they'll be up to final fantasy 500 or something it'll never be the 'final' fantasy if you know what i mean...but they make good rpg games though...

oh, didn't they also make final fantasy 1 and 2 for the ds or gba or something?just seems they are remaking the final fantasy games for every system...using their old games...final fantasy tactics advance and the ones 1 through 6...and also the new one about final fantasy 7 advent children and stuff like that

Final Fantasy is a good series but it should end. It may have good graphics, but its mostly the same storyline over and over, if you really think hard...

And.. Final Fantasy 1,2 and 4 is remade on GBA and Final Fantasy 3 is coming out on DS..

Not really, or at all actually. A lot of the early ones are the same but 8 9 10 (Though 2 of them sucked) were pretty unique.

My thought is will there ever be a final fantasy. I liked 7&9 ok but even then they got old really fast. But then again I am a HUGE Neverwinter Night fan (WOOT GO D&D Ver. 3.5!) so I guess i shouldn't talk about other turn based RPGs like that.

Ya, FF8 was a complete disgrace, WHERE IS THE MP!?!?!? The fighting = GF's summonded over and over till you win the battle. Game, Set, Match.

Final Fantasy 9 wasn't that bad, I enjoyed it alot, of course FFX owns it and FF8 just plain sucks. So I agree with you 66.6%

FF8 was just plain screwed up, the story, the characters, the battle system, the summons. It was just screwed up to the max. FF9 was all about 2 characters, Zidane and Garnet. And FFX went in-depth on all the characters making them unique in some way or another. Which really made the game interesting, along with the awesome story, battle, and mini games. Not to mention the COMPLETELY AMAZING CG'S. And just to top it off a mind-blowing emotional ending. And then theres the expanision. Which is only meant for the "Perfect" ending, just to top of FFX.

The word Final in Final Fantasy means the MAIN CHARACTERS final story, NOT "the final game in the series" . If it did then they already would have stopped producing the game at FF1

i think Final Fantasy 11 turned into an mmorpg game...i'm guessing they use final fantasy as a name because they're too lazy to come up with another name?i mean there are similar things,some of the characters(chocobo,moogle,etc...) but the story, gameplay, and certain aspects of them are different, but uses the same layout...
They made a movie about final fantasy...but i think it went into a complete failure...i didn't really get it, and nothings really related to the games...

they should stick to different title names i'm thinking...
