Okay, I know there's a lot of topics and stuff about this, but none work. I've tried everything, and I dont know what I'm doing wrong. It just wont work, I want something like in DBGT Bound. The beacon is there, and you can see it, but you can't click it. I want to get that effect, cause I hate being able to click beacons. I hope someone can help.

first of all why do you hate being able to click beacons?
second what you do its disable a beacon for a computer player (or a player you do not have shared vision with) and it will make it unclickable
note that if you reveal it by getting a detector near it it will cloak and it will be glowing(you know that effect right)
oh and i will check the map later to see what the problem is but for now ill just give this fast reply
Yeah, I've tried that... Doesn't work. I've tried about everything... Don't know whats wrong.
You could use a beacon sprite instead of a unit.
Set vision for the player who owns the beacons for the human players then unvision.
I've even tried that, doesn't work.
1. Sprites
2. Disable it then give it to player 12 (or any unused player 9-12)
Im sure you tryed it, But you gotta do it for all players, even the computers.
Havn't tried disabling, and giving to player 12... I'll try that now... Brb.
What do you mean do it for the computers too? Give comps vision to the humans and vice versa?
EDIT: Okay, I tried the sprite thing, and giving to player 12... Didn't work... >.<
Errr. Disabling it and giving it to an unused player always works for me. Unless you want it so that you can just see the glowing part of the beacon. I don't have my StarCraft CD here so I can't look at the map. I don't know how to do that. Try this

Wo come on, Like i said, You place a beacon, Disable it, Then you give vision for the computer player to human players then turn it off.
think you might also have to put a wait 0 milisecond in there...or hyper trigger it?
wait 0 milliseconds is to short, gotta do 2000! or 1500!

Did, nothing there. God... This effect is pissing me off. >.<
well there are like 2 sprites of it. there in starforge.
right click to find sprites.
select sprites.
find a small box that is clickable and it says Unit. even though your still in sprites but its just another set of sprites behind it.
find the beacon and put it on your map.
i think these sets of sprites are the non clickables. the ones on scmdraft 2 are only clickable. also if you did this in starforge, you were on the right track but you didnt see the button.
That just confused me. What are you saying about sprites?

I did that, it didn't work. Anyway, I got it now, I just used sprites, That worked. All I had to do was make a Terran Beacon Sprite. >.<. The trigger works randomly, thats why it worked sometimes and not other times. Thanks for all your help.
