Make sure that you zip the required files to the right folder, and then try it again. If that doesn't work, make sure that your computer has the required components that you would need for games and stuff, and make sure that all of the Starforge files are in the Starforge folder. mellow.gif

I'm pretty sure I downloaded all the required files and put them where they should be, but it still didn't work. Maybe someone should link me to all the files so I know I have them all?

Which is the right version? Could you please link me to it?

Also, I'm not positive if I'm putting the required files in the right locations. I'm running on XP.

</Oo\> Is that flaming I see? I think I might bust out the marshmallows...
oh and yeah you noobs should reinstall starforge. If that doesn't work, redownload the visual basic runtime files, then download starforge again. reinstall. if that doesn't work, one of three scenarios is happening:
  • You don't have the hardware to run SF (unlikely)
  • You incorrectly installed the runtime and/or SF files
  • You're retarded.
Now, as you can see, this has all been said before...so, you should reinstall...If nothing else works, back up your HD onto a removable disk, take your computer out somewhere secluded, hit it with a sledge hammer until it's an unrecognizable pile of dust, then return it to the manufacturer asking for a refund.
Cheers,
FöX
