This is 100% serious. I used to have nightmares about meatballs attacking me, and I was afraid to touch them because I thought they would burn me because of their redness. I was afraid to eat them, too. So wierd.

Our living room was a dangerous place.
The floor was made of lava, and monsters lived under much of the furniture. Not portrayed here, but all of the guests our parents invited would hang about the living room and suck the life force out of us kids whenever we'd enter. It was a treacherous place.
