Ok, I was wondering if there is a faster way to kill hallucinations?
please don't say "use the kill unit at trigger" what i want is the hallucinations to die normally buy say just make the process faster.

Ummmm...Does setting the energy make it DIE faster?...Wait nope...Just use the kill unit at trigger jajajaj bangin.gif

if you want the energy of the hallunication to run faster you can try this...

if u can set the energy of a hallunication(i dunno cuz i never tryed), then you can do like:

allways
add +1 to death of unit
preserve

then do triggers like:

death of chosen unit = X
set energy to ("initial amount of energy" - 12*X)

& repeat those triggers with higher "X"

(sorry i forgot, does hallunication have 135 initial energy ? or...)

lol why to add a dead if you can just do it with just 1 trigger? that wasn't very clever and yes they are 135 but it's not energy, and no setting the energy to a lower ammount like 20% does nothing.

I think he just wants the blue clouds to disappear faster. I don't think there's a way, unless you wanna make it x2 or x4 speed.

lol...? what blue clouds? i meant hallucinations! like hmm you cast hallucinations on a ultralisk it gets 135 appearantly energy but its not energy and it substracts 1 per 0.76 of a second that's like slow, what i want is to make them to die faster either accelerating that 0.76 or by setting them to a lower ammount of hallucination life....where are the blue clouds in there? i don't even know what blue clouds you are talking about...

The blue clouds he is referring to is the death animation for hallunicated units. Noober, he is not referring to this, but having the energy of a hallunicated unit go down faster.

Ironically, even though he misunderstood you, he suggested what I planned to suggest: 2x or 4x speed. Besides this, all I can think of is having a "prep" area where you make the hallunicated unit, wait a little, and THEN place it into play with a smaller timer. Long story short, you can't do much with hallunicated unit energy.

the point is that im making a list of the ultimate glitch so i have to wait a long time until the hallucination dies its 135 the life of the hallucination i have to wait like 1minute and that bores me...just looking at the energy go down and down...... i even added some minigames in the tester map while i wait..how sad is it? anyways im gonna try the 4x speed if it doesn't work ill kill you smile.gif
Darktossgen(MM): i know you are looking at this topic, don't suggest modding

He foundz0r meh. Oh, and it's impossible with modding unless u like ASM. tongue.gif Try the Set Energy Trigger. smile.gif

Yes, I Found You in fact I'm always watching You, watch Your back shifty.gif
No, energy trigger doesn't work, as I said in a previous reply. I think there's no faster way to do It...I guess I'll have to wait ....any suggestions for more mini games for a map lol...tic tac toe It's getting boring too ...

Well... If you were to create a hallucinated unit I guess you could use the 'Create Unit with Properties' and make it hallucinated and have its energy be at however amount you want so its Hallucination energy is lower... If you mean is there anyway to make the hallucination go faster when you use a templar to create it... I have no idea... Modify the units energy? That should work... Since thats all a Hallucination is... an energy unit...

That wouldn't work i guess...because...Dunno here is the thing, to make the ultimate glitch you have a powerup with health i use vespene orb. then you hallucinate it and you get two you pick one of them and wait until the other one dies now that's the problem that i have to wait a lot, just to tell you i have to wait like 49 seconds or more plus some of them crashes and i got to restart SC and i just loose a lot of time...i guess ill make a mini pac man in the map so i don't get bored oh and another thing is that i cannot conect to battle.net and leave it in process and in single player it stops if i go out to msn or something...and i cannot conect because battle.net does not recognize my version (thanks farty for the patchers happy.gif)

what would be a faster way to kill a hallucination than using a trigger to kill it instantly?
maybe a unit to target and kill the hallucination in 1 blow or something?why don't you want to use the kill unit trigger?

You cant with the glicth. And Corbo, sorry but you are SOL.

EMP's kill hallucinations, i dont know if it will work for the glitch but I do know it takes out normal hallucinations. Hope this helps. I expiremented with a probe picking up something that was hallucinated then emping it, then killing the probe didnt seem promising but it is a step farther. happy.gif
