hi i am fairly new at this mapmaking thing and i was trying to make an assassination mission but the trigger isn't working
p8 body guards
p7 Target, 1 man
p1-4 human assassins
the trigger -
CONDITIONS:
- player 7 has exactly 0 opponents remaining in the game.
ACTIONS:
- End scenario in victory for current player.
can some one help me?
the trigger seems fine. As long as player 7 is assassinated then the player should end in victory. What doesnt work exactly? The human players are supposed to win right? Then make sure the trigger is in the player 1-4 slots and make sure the trigger is directed to each player.
It should work but try these anyways. Make all the human players have allied victory (won't do anything but just incase) and you can change it so that Player 7 brings exactly 0 units to anywhere.
If player 7 is the enemy, all the humans need to leave for P7 to have no opponents, so it would never fire. So no, the trigger isn't fine.
Make it for players 1-4 (or their force), and just change the conditions to P7 brings exactly 0 any unit to anywhere or p7 commands exactly 0 any unit.
hm, i don't get it... which player is this assigned to? how come everyone believes this would result in a win for the human players(assassins)? The trigger would only fire when there are no opponents left in the game(in other words, all human players are gone)
anyhow,
for assassins to win
players:
w/e force the assassins are in or players 1 -4 if you prefer
condition:
Player 7 commands at most 0 target unit
Action:
end scenario in victory for current player
***
for P7 to win(and i assume the bodyguards too)
Players:
P7 and P8(if you want)
Condition:
P7 has exactly zero opponents remaining in game
Action:
end scenario in victory for current player
