Oh yay, another RPG. Wait a second, generic classes again? Evil? Sounds like this won't be anything new. It's a bit dissapointing when I don't actually have a few classes to select from, and alot of story going between each character. I'll give it a shot anyways. When I was talking to the king, I was mildly impressed that you took the time to constantly order the unit to move to the location, instead of letting the player roam freely around town while the king is talking to you. That's a plus, since I see some effort put into this. Afterwards, I tried going off from town. They didn't let me. Another plus. Looking at all the classes, I decided that taking the Paladin would be an ideal choice, although all the units seem fairly good throughout the game. There should've been a bit more diverse, as in only a few units were good throughout the entire game, not the majority of the picking. Thanks to the 'chair' in my house, I was able to scan the map before leaving town. I spotted...a Zerg Zergling and a Zerg Hydralisk. That sounds bad. And the Zerg Spire doesn't make it any better. Looking at my stats, I then realized that it was the same stats that Jim Raynor had. I don't mind you keeping the same balance between heroes and the enemy units in the game, but it makes the map seem like a cinch put together. I went out for some kills and also took notice that I had no EXP, nor money.

I know it's just a demo, but you could've put it together a bit better than it is now. The features are really nothing special. Since you're not done with the map yet, I'm sure you are able to make some changes for the better in this map.

Very poor. Couldn't enter the buildings i was told to(yes i tried every angle and side) and, at the start, it kept forcing my screen to the corner.(get rid of that) the torch deals were very unoriginal, and the block and iso terrain made the map look really ugly. Sorry i want to say something good, but 1: i couldn't enter the Guild thingy, and 2: there wasn't anything good about what i saw. You need to redo the part where the king is talking to you(saying crap about how you wanna be a good warrior is really gay) and you need to make it so that(if this is the case) you have a unit to unload to enter buildings(i checked like 30 times and i didn't have one). And, try choose one side, block or iso(preferably iso) because it bugs the heck out of me(and others) when the creator cant decide which to use. After that, all i can emphesize is originality, there are already like 100 maps that have the same story line and numerous other similarities. Try and make up and interesting plot and guide the player through the map, don't force him through.(at the start i had know idea what to do. i just guessed that if i moved onto the grass i would leave the house. Next i didn't know where to go so i had to fumble my way past every building and unit until the very last thing*conveniently place at the bottom* was a half intro. then he tells me that i have to go to the guild.) decide what your are going to do. Either leave it open, or close it off, but don't do a half and half. With all that said i hope this is your first map because they all are usually copies of other maps with no intention except to mimic the other map the copied. Finally, ask around and see if anyone would actually play the game you are going to make, cause if their not, don't make it!

I was going to make it so you can't leave the town at all in the Demo. I geuss it slipped my mind. And also I havn't done any stats or enemy names, and you wern't supposed to be able to scan...

What player were you? I am going to make the locations bigger so its easier to get into them. Are you sure you were close enough?

It kept forcing the screen to the corner becuase ur in ur house. And I'm sorry that I had the Turrets named Torches. I geuss I didn't see the copyright on them.

Okay I'll try and work on that.

Well it sounds like you guys were pretty dissapointed. This is my first shot at an Rpg, and I'm just trying to get a start. Some of the things are diffrent in the real game, helping you with where to go. But I geuss I put this demo kinda sloppily together. I geuss i was just kinda excited about my building system that I had never really used before or seen much. But I geuss for some reason its not working out very well.

Also, I am pretty crappy with storyline are whatnot. Again, this is my first real attempt at an RPG. I might have some one help me with that if I actually keep working on this.

I'll probably keep up the demo so a few other people can look at it and give me a few pointers on how to improve on this or a diffrent RPG. But thans guys for the critisism.

"Majesty" (singular) is the name of an RPG made by me. Change your title or be sued! tongue.gif

Kidding. Don't mind all those negative comments. RPGs take a long time to create and even longer to perfect, and this is rarely ever done in one map. Work out the bugs, balance out the characters, make the gameplay fun, and you'll be fun; it's nearly impossible to be original with an RPG, and many people play them for the predictiveness anyway. Kill monster, get money, simple as that.

I was player 1. And im 110% sure that i was close enough. Mabey you are using some triggers that will only work on battle net? are you using any mods or anything?

Rule of thumb, always play maps in Multiplayer mode.

I tried out the map. The biggest thing I think you should change is have the King's castle closer to the Player's house (or use a trigger to force the player to walk to the castle at the start of the game after he leaves the house). I spent 5 minutes walking around the Guild trying to get a hero without realizing that I had to talk to the King first.

Use the action button. It's the overlord on the top right corner of the map, with a unit in it.
