LotR = The Lord of The Rings

[ Description ]

You play as one of 6 different characters:

1. Frodo-Sam
2. Merry-Pippin
3. Gandalf
4. Aragorn-Boromir
5. Legolas
6. Gimli

You will go on an adventure through 3 epic BOOKS of LotR (Fellowship, Two Towers and Return of the King). You will experience over 30 different cinematics, including perfectly accurate battles and battles you have never seen before (because they are in the book, not in the movie). You will be split up at times from your friends, but that's a good thing because you get to level up. There's a lot of level ups in the game until you max out and your health goes up 3% or something, damage goes up (you get +2 minerals) and your armor goes up (+1 gas). You will experience amazing extended and ISOM terrains that will blow you away!

This sounds like this map is going to be WAY intense! All i can say is that i dont really like the terrain work were it is half square, and half isometric, but im only one person

. Other than that i think that this map is going to be a huge hit. Good luck(i would be a tester, but i am working on a map already and i have very limited computer time due to school. Sorry)

Ill be a tester since im making a helms deep right now with real terrain not like any of them fonies out there with SQUARES. isnt the drain sapose to be small? o well. looks very awesome. maybe you should make it able to pick what episode u want to play first? that would be cool.

Aiight guys, I'll post up the next 5 screenshots next saturday because I already have 3 weeks of screenshots already taken. Yeah, like I said... This terrain you see right now in the first 5 screenshots = crap. Wait until you see the rest of the map, you will drool!!

Hey just so you know the 3rd screenshot dont work. And if youre going to show off your map, why put up the bad shots of terrain? You dont show off youre worst, you show off youre best! Show us these 'drool causing' shots.

I'll test. Lookin good, finally a LOTR RPG that isnt just snaking terrain, thats not even CLOSE to the actual terrain. The LOTR RPG All 3 Book one that is out now is HORRIBLE, all you do is walk around snaking terrain and kill things. Good luck with it, looks good from what i see.

I'm sorry to say, but the first book is almost 80% snaking, but it's only so you can level up enough for the big battles. It's all good

I started this map before Vlad_Vampire started and finished his LotR RPG 1-3 map. Plus, his map sucks, all you do is go around in zig zags killing random units. His battles are also really boring and easy. Well Vlad's map is mostly based on the Movies, not the books, because I noticed he had copied a lot of the movie quotes which are not in the book. This one has been made sure 100% guaranteed to the book. Need 3 more testers, please enlist now! Map is near completion, estimated release has been updated on front page.

Update:

- Testers list removed because I just realized the map needs a FH to function, sorry to all who were excited about testing...

- Three events left to cover:
1. Road to Black Gate
2. Black Gate
3. Mt. Doom
- Considering if I'm going to make a finishing cinematic.

LOL! You acctually believe people will show up? Anyways if you really wanna test then join my clan - Op AcTiViSion@USEast. We offer Testing and Map Making, completely tagless. You must not have any clans and you must be in our channel regularily. Other than that, I'll let my clan's testers handle the testing portion which should take a couple days
