Since MGS 3: Subsistance is out, i decided to make a little guide comparing the two paths you can take, one being kill anyone you run into, the other being putting enemies to sleep or knocking them out.
Leathal Pros:
Quicker dispatchment of enemies
Wide choice of weapondry to choose from
Defeated enemies won't wake-up and resume patroling
Non-Leathal Pros:
Defeated enemies's bodies will drop two items when shaked-down
if asleep when discovered by another enemy, the enemy will not go into Caution status
Bosses will drop speical camo (and weapons, as in The End's case)
Less ghosts in the Sorrow's river
Incapitacted enemies can be awoken to be introgated
some speical items require zero kills.
Leathal Cons:
Enemies bodies will only drop one item when shaked-down
if discovered by another enemy, the enemy will go into caution mode and call in reinforcements
Bosses will not drop speical camo/weapons
more enemies will appear in the Sorrow's river
Non-Leathal Cons:
if knocked unconcuious and discovered by the enemy, they will go into Caution mode
Less variety of weapons to choose from
Slower to dispatch of enemies, if you can't hit them in the head with the Mk22.
Harder to fight of enemies in Alert phase.
Now, it's clear that maybe for the first time you should go non-leathal agianst the bosses at least so you can get their camo, the 2nd or 3rd time through, it's your call on how to go through it.
The End's Camo Case:
The End will not drop his Camo when defeated non-leathaly, he will drop his sniper rifle, the Mosin Nagant, in order to get The End's Camo, you must hold him up 3 times during the battle. to hold up someone, you have to get behind them undectected and bring your gun up to them, it doesn't matter if the gun is a leathal or non leathal, you'll know you're close enough when Snake yells out "Freeze!" the enemy will drop their weapon (expect The End) and hold their hands up above their heads, from this point you can get infront of them, with your gun held out, and point it at their head, they will shake themselves down and drop up to 4 items. The End, However, will lay down on the ground and throw a stun greande twice, the third time you hold him up, he gives up his Camo
List of Leathal Weapons:
Survival Knife
M1911A1 Pistol
Single Action Army Revolver
Fork
Scorpion Sub-Machine gun
Ak-47 Assault Rifle
XM16E1 Assault Rifle

A note about Unconcuious and Sleep
Unconcuious is when you knock an enemy out either using fist, weapon with CQC button, or Stun grenades, when they wake up, they will sound the alarm, as well as any other enemy who discovers their comrade unconcious. if this happens, the game will enter Alert mode.
Sleep is when the enemy is hit with either the Mk22 or the Mosin Nagant, both of which fire tranqulizer darts, these enemies will wake up, but will not sound the alarm, same with those who discover them, they will just kick them and wake them up. the enemy will yawn and go back to his patrol like nothing happend.
Hoped this help some people.
For lethal cons, you should've said that most of them require ammo. And I'm not sure if this was in SE, in Subsistance, if you play in Very Easy mode, you get the non-lethal Ez gun, a tranquilizer gun with laser-targeting and infinite ammo

MGS got old after the 90000000th time you did the same thing over and over and over and over and over...you get the point. you do the same thing every 30 seconds. bad series all around in my opinion

The MGS series is basically a bunch of cinematic games, so...

Because Kingdom Hearts' button mashing for 50 hours is so much better. MGS is only as fun as you make of it, you can have fun the enemy AI, listen to the story, or do funny things like throw guards off railings. Or you can be a bore and say "DUD DES GEME SUX HERDCUREZ>!"
Woah? You can have a tranquilizer gun with laser sighting on very easy? I've gotta go!
But before I run off, in response to you doing the same thing argument, you can really make a section of the game play however you want. I personally like getting in a huge firefight occasionally.

Coming from a guy who likes a sissy game like Kingdom Hearts... Game is horrible, Kingdom Hearts, frickin' button smashing and a crappy story line.

You lost the little crediblity you had. Sissy game? You know I don't see Bloodrayne selling more then Mario Party and Pokemon, want to know why? Because a bunch of mature people noticed that "sissy" games aren't "sissy" they're just targeted to a different audience, that doesn't make them bad. Zelda: Wind Waker was one of the best games of 2003 and not State of Emergency.
Grow up.
Don't be fooled little ones, that doesn't mean that Kingdom Hearts isn't a repeative button masher filled with mini games, it just means that Caboose needs to rethink what he said

.
RAWR!
I think it's a sissy game, it has a disney theme...
Since it is probably targeted to a younger audience and someone like Lyon who is probably like 15 and he plays it... Makes it a sissy game for like 14-up.

In SE, there was the EZ gun for very easy, but you can also get if for any other difficulty if you can complete the game having captured each animal/food plant/medical plant at least once, that includes Tsuchikno and the 3 snakes at the Boss fight. but, for non-leathal con, in contrast to your lethal con, none of the non-lethal weapons are repeat fire, unless you count fists. most of them require you to reload after each shot.
