Staredit Network -> StarCraft Editing Related -> Is this a good defense idea?

Would this be interesting? :

A defense map where the maze is completely randomized each time you play? Has it been done before? and to what extent?

I was considering doing this, even though I normally make melee maps. I would like to learn and I thought this might be a good idea.

I think so. I have already started wroking on a defense similar to this. ( months before hand)


It never really got finished And I may consider making it public.

Yes I have played a randmized maze map. Could have been better though!

Yes this map generating idea could be very good, though it would have to be very well thought out and have a lot of triggers! Because if you are generating a whole new maze you will need to have locations with create unit here, at every location. And to have others switch, that could be very difficult. If you need any further help, ask me, I am good with triggers and helping.

Well I dont rreally need much help. I have gotten a lot of it done. I spent a very long time whittling at the maze triggers to get them perfect. Ill tr to get an example for ya.
