Ive been wondering the only thing i know about P12 that its neutrual is there anything else?
not sure if i got every liitle detail but here goes
-it is always neutral
-it cannot be player controlled
-it doesn't respond to certain trigger actions(only ai scripts and alliance status as far as i know, but possibly more)
-dark swarm and disruption web belong to p12
-as do minerals, vespene geyser(i think) and critters
-when a player leaves, their units' ownership gets transferred to p12
- when initially placed, p12 units are totally neutral, but any units gained from p1-8 retain their previous alliance status
thats is about as much as i know. An example of p12 is in racoon city, you know those tank barricades? thats player 12
well not really...ai scripts won't affect them, they will stay in their position and do nothing...certain triggers do work though.you can have triggers to kill off any player 12 unit or give them to another player. but you can't change its alliance status so it will remain always neutral to other players(it won't attack or defend even if its being attacked)
for human and possibly computer players, you can trigger it to make player 12 an enemy but it won't work on the other way around.
about the web and dark swarm, the effects of the spells on player 12 will work. being preplaced on the map owned by a player other than player 12 won't work and won't disappear.
when a player leaves, the units are given to player 12 as stated. they will retain their player color they left off until you have a trigger giving it to another player, and appear as a light blue color on the mini map.
True, dark swarm and dweb start off as p12 when you cast them, but by using the give unit action you can give them to other players.
P 12 is an extra player to put units on map, they cant spawn units durring game. P 12 is good for placing units and then controling them with triggs.

actually they can spawn units through triggers. i've created mineral patches, geysers and critters through triggers. I'm pretty sure you can create buildings and stuff for them also.
i dont think so. in 1 map i was trying to create a carrier for this lame projectile system thingy and it didnt work so i had to use teleport instead of kill/create.
