Staredit Network -> Concepts -> New Accepting Missions Style

Anyways, i thought it was pretty cool, and it works.

Anyways what you do, is have a building, owned by a computer player, and have a civilian or whatever you want next to it. If you bring your unit near the building it is given to you, to accept a mission, simply build a unit. After the unit is built, set a couple of deaths, and build another unit to accept or decline. It's pretty neat actually, saves you alot of locations and whatnot. That's all i really had to share, Tell me what you think.

There's a reason why current mission selection is so popular... being that it is effective. This method can potentially be good, but it can be flawed in a sense that you have to be near a building and have enough food to create the unit inside the building. It looks nasty to have food sad.gif. Why not just have a burrowed unit under the building and a 1x1px on the building? And then you walk near the building to recieve the burrowed unit and building and unburrow the burrowed unit to accept? When it moves outside of the 1x1px location over it it activates the trigger.

Then again... who makes rpgs now a days?

Just have a accept mission command, similar to commands in [GTA classic]. Most efficient and fast way as far as I now wink.gif
